It has happened to me once with an SD card about 5 years ago. That was before I knew how to transfer files between discs, flashdrives, downloads and SD cards...Back then I had no idea how to navigate file management, until someone showed me how. Back in those days, I use to draw my art conventionally with coloured pencils and paper, and everything was stored only on SD cards from photographing the drawings...That was bad in those days being that SD cards are so fragile
I've come a long way from the Model "T" age since then. Now days, I keep my files on multiple flashdrives and discs. Many of my discs and flashdrives are duplicates of each other so none of my eggs are in one basket.
