YCH Thingies!

So I'm going to be doing more YCH pics from now on, not auctions but pre-drawn scenes that people can buy for a set price and insert their own chosen characters. The reason I'm doing this is so that I can draw scenes I enjoy drawing and find fun, which reduces the stress of drawing commissions for me. At the same time, others can get a commission they also like, at my usual standard of artwork, but at a nice discount. Win-win! I won't be doing many, if any, actual auctions where people have to bid, so that I can make more money for the same effort. This way I can draw some commissions I enjoy doing and others can get cheaper art!

das good. I know some people hate those and from a commissioner's point of view I understand why but I really understand why artists like them.

Yeah, I've seen plenty of furs express their distaste for ych auctions, so I'm trying to meet them half way by not having it as an auction but a set-price deal that is actually cheaper than my usual prices. Hopefully that will make it more attractive XP.

I think most people refuse, no wait, I KNOW most people refuse to acknowledge art requires time and thus requires money. either out of the artist's pocket OR the people viewing the art. I don't get a fucking check out of thin air every time I make music and no matter how many times I ask, the grocery store still wont give me my food for free.

Tis okay, I didn't know at first either XP. Basically, an artist draws a scene with characters that are essentially blank, then the customer pays the artist to draw their characters into the scene, to have "your character here".
