I know it comes as a massive blow to all the fans of this comic, and believe me I feel the same way, but I have done something wrong and I must take full responsibility for it.
I did not give Gypsi (f.k.a Weirdgirl and Spectura) enough credit for the work she started, the work I took upon myself to continue.
There are serious consequences when it comes to art theft, and I tried my best to avoid that.
Secretly I happen to be a fan of Sonadow mpreg, but only when Sonic gets the mother role. And my favorite parts are the "natural" birthing process. They've become so hard to find these days, so when I happen to find one, well,
I'd be eager to read it, especially if Sonic potentially becomes a mother.
And that was when I came upon Gypsi's (Weirdgirl at the time) Little Hedgehogs fanfic.
Long ago I read on the Sonadow Fanfiction Profile that Weirdgirl had abandoned her original Little Hedgehogs fanfic, so I decided to adopt it and adapt it as my own... I did that by saving the original sixth chapter before she changed it into a rushed ending.
And she was fine with it at first. She even supported it, gave me some ideas on how it should play out and helped me fill in the holes. With her as the writer and me as the artist, I thought we'd work on this together.
But the adoption was unofficial because I should've told her first but I didn't, I didn't inform her very much of my concept on her content and just exaggerated the story itself into my own vision, so... The way she felt must be similar to a mother feels left out as her child is paraded to the public by her aunt or something like that... That's just what I did with her last Sonadow Fanchild.
I thought I was doing the right thing by spreading the word that Gypsi was the true author.
But I guess I didn't do a good enough job.
Whenever I make assumptions, it always gets me into trouble. And I assumed that adding a link to the original story it was based on only on the first page would've been enough to let those know who the real creator was, but I tend to forget that some people just don't get hints, and they don't always start from the beginning.
To be blunt, I disrespected the original Fanfic Author and took advantage of her old work.
And because of my mistake, Gypsi has lost trust in me to continue this Series.
I really did want to finish this comic series, I have worked years on it, and I couldn't have done it without her. But what I did was not fair to her.
As much as it pains me...
For her sake, and with a heavy heart, I cannot continue.
