Not Quite Winners. Consideration list, Not In Any Real Order, Save one.
1. The Ren & Stimpy Show 2. 2 Stupid Dogs 3. Dennis the Menace 4. Dexter's Laboratory 5. The Real Adventures of Jonny Quest
6. Fievel's American Tails I love Fievel so darn much, that I ended up only considering Fievel's American Tails, because of my love for him.
This list was also not easy placing together. Pokemon vs SpongeBob SquarePants. They are both well done. They are both Child Appropriate, especially the start of the series. SpongeBob SquarePants is even more mild, violence wise. Popularity though in the 90s, only really one cartoon was in the leading position. SpongeBob SquarePants might not have even been on this list, if it had come out a little later then it did. Since that is came out in 1999. Timon & Pumbaa was mostly just a lot of fun, with appearances from Simba from time to time. Heart filled fun lessons, which isn't bad for children. Often, they had some decent lessons. Hey, it's Disney, what would you expect? Of course, sometimes there were silly episodes for not other reason, other then fun. Tiny Toon Adventures. Toon lessons and Friendship. Steven Spielberg did good, not trying to really copy Looney Tunes. Giving them only parts of their parents aptitudes, I believe he did a good job on it.
Steven Spielberg Presents, Animaniacs. *Very* Entertaining and sometimes even Educational... but really fun. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eAII411eqPg Awwwww poor Wakko, I would wanna give it to him.
Doug To be honest, I really haven't ever watched a lot of Doug, but what little I have watched, it was a very good show.
Goof Troop That one, I would almost have to sit and watch a bunch, just to catch up, and see if I can find some of my favorites. I Really Really Loved watching it. Maxie. Lol.
TaleSpin. Ahm. I wanna learn how to Cloud Surf. :D I really loved watching them two. Kit Cloud Kicker. :D
Darkwing Duck Was one of my last favorites of the 90s. Mostly, I named what I can perceive mostly being the mainstream of America's favorites. Yes I skipped a lot, but I was trying to consider Child Appropriate. Simpson's presses the border line of Child Appropriate too close. With Pokemon being the most violent on my list. But Pokemon isn't as adult oriented as many shows I didn't include.
Opinions are welcome, insults will probably be ignored.
Waaauuuugh! Why no mention of Ducktails? New episodes still premiered in 1990!
Also, why no Rescue Rangers or Bonkers?
Also, as for (late 80s and early) 90s series, I'm currently enjoying Quantum Leap on glorious DVD (thank *GOODNESS* they came up with the custom to scan the original camera negs for DVD releases) from my birthday wishlist this year. It's one of the very first series I remember watching, I was watching it habitually and fervently already back then. It's the only one I remember from my childhood that has stuck with me until today, and the only one that has only grown even stronger and stronger on me until this very day. I enjoy it even more today than I did back then.

AAaaahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!! Thanks, and you even misspelled it, but that's okay. DuckTales I forgot, I did wanna mention it. Technically, DuckTales is an 80s show, since it only went into 90s by a year. I am not even sure how far into 1990 it even lasted. I did wanna mention it though, because it in a way, hurt me to disqualify that one. I Really Really wanted to include DuckTales. :( So I guess I add it to the file I am writing on this. 4(Fun) is the reason.

Instead of a human boy, Kit Cloud Kicker, (Little Bridges) Baloo's Friend, and Rebecca's boss, all went by (Jungle Book) characters. I always thought that fact was cool. ;)
I thought that was one of the better ideas back then. ;)
~~~ Quote by sammm: Loved Animaniacs and TailSpin. :) ~~~ See how much they sometimes pick
I was trying to make considerations taking into account how child appropriate they were, as well as entertaining. There were actually some which disqualified for just that. (South Park.) But that's not important to my point. Some good cartoons didn't even make consideration. (Cow and Chicken.) One of my favorites from that, (The Red Guy). "This looks like the beginning of a, BEAUTIFUL FRIENDSHIP!" In the middle of sentences, or at the end, or ending in not yelling, almost like randomly yelling. There's lots I didn't place into even considering, which I enjoyed watching. Swat Cats was one of the shows. I loved watching it, it was underrated as to how well a program it was. Their jet build from parts out of a military scrap yard, pretty much anyways. ;) (Road Rovers.) There's programs I enjoyed watching which never made consideration.
The Ren & Stimpy Show Stimpy's Hairball collection. (LOL) Yes, I have watched.
"Where's the food?" Big Dog. Two Stupid Dogs. When it comes to watching cartoons, there's quite a few I can get into watching. So getting along with a lot of different people, I can easily there too. TaleSpin, I wish I could grab little Kit out of there... hehehe. Anywho, I too enjoyed watching those two shows. ;)
yup i know what you meen hehe , i think Denver the dinosaur was child appropriate tho in the middle of it they changed their minds and sed no cuz Denver was laying on his back with one of the boy's Wally i think was laying on Denver's tummy in between his lag's and that's a no no soon after i think that is when they canceled the show :(
yup i know what you meen hehe , i think Denver the dinosaur was child appropriate tho in the midd
I don't believe I watched much of that one, didn't even remember it, till I searched Google, and looked at some images. I thought Gumby should have been taken off the air before it was. Here horsey, have some water. The way he had his legs in it, it was nearly like he was pissing or something. That's another one I didn't consider though, and that's not the reason. It's technically an 80s show. You and I though both loved some of the same shows, though we didn't know each other when we were watching them. I have-a feeling, we'd both enjoy watching (Denver the dinosaur), though I hadn't ever watched it. I I I I Eh? I guess that's pretty much it of this message... Huggles. ;)
