I want to thank all of my readers and fans for their patience and understanding in what I have been going through. I still do not wish to discuss my experiences or recovery either privately or publicly past what I have already divulged. I appreciate your concern, but I would rather keep as private as possible while still keeping my fans up-to-date on my whereabouts and activities.
That being said, I posted a journal roughly a month ago stating what had happened to me in short, and notifying my fans and readers that I would be taking an extended leave from writing. While I am still working out some issues, I'm happy to say that hiatus is over ; I have begun writing once again.
While I am working on my queue that I left behind a month ago, I will not be open to any new commissions whatsoever, from repeat customers or new customers alike. While I apologize for this inconvenience, I already have a large commission in my queue that will take several weeks to complete. I feel that if I allow new commissions at this point, my queue will back up to the point that I won't find the motivation necessary to write anymore. I'm taking small steps towards finishing my queue.
Once I have finished the projects currently on my plate, I will of course post another update journal notifying readers and fans that my commissions queue is open once again. By that point I hope that everything is back to the way it was before.
One final note, I'd like to speak to the nature of accepting donations or contribution through PayPal. While I don't discourage this generous activity, I cannot use any donation or contribution to extend my current clients' projects. Projects are worked out and planned extensively in private before I ever begin writing, so there is no room for extensions on current projects. However, any donation I receive will be noted and if the donator ever wishes to commission a story, the money paid will be taken into account when discussing the commission. For example, if you were to donate $40 and then in six months you wanted a story commission, you'd automatically receive two chapters free of charge due to your donation. Just an example, that is but this is how donations for me will work.
I should also note that I'm not making this statement as some sort of peddle to encourage donations ; I simply have been recently contacted about donations and extending other clients' projects and wished to speak publicly about it. And one final caveat concerning donations ; my writing process does not cost me financially. I do not spend a single penny of my own finances to produce the content you see posted here. Do I buy things like cigarettes and tea to make writing less stressful? Of course. Can I write without donations or financial support from people who aren't buying stories? Absolutely. Choose to donate or not donate on your own free will and know that I will continue turning out quality content regardless.
