What to do with my Leisure Time

by
Most people like to read or play games with their leisure time. Me? I like to create. Ever since I’ve had a computer, I’ve enjoyed writing outlines for video game ideas I’ve had. By outlines, I mean writing down weapon and enemy data, and then writing a document that describes the level and objectives. I have a folder that is full of these documents, many of which I’ve lost interest in and started new ones. And of course, there is that Gundam RPG I’ve been endlessly working on.

Another concept I’ve played with is dream battles, where I write an epic battle scene, mostly from Gundam, but now I’m doing stuff from video games like Halo and Resident Evil. I like to depict the battles as if they were fight scenes from a video game.

However, I stopped to think, should I be doing this in my leisure time? I mean, most of the video game ideas probably aren’t worth the time since if I did start game development, I could only focus on one. I planned to submit the raw ideas to a team of developers, but I don’t know if that’s possible. The Dream battles are basically just a waste of time and seem more like work when writing them.

I could be doing something more productive with my leisure time, such as working on my forgotten Video Game Parodies, or animation, which also count as work, but at least it’s productive. I know Leisure Time doesn’t have to be productive, but it would be a nice thing if it was.

So what do you think would be a fun and productive thing to do on my computer during Leisure time?
