This's isn't anything. After the awful storms we had in Texas last year, there was considerable grumbling that the federal government wasn't doing enough to help the Lone Star State in her time of need. That's right. The state whose governor made open musings about secession after Obama got into office, the state who refused to use its full allotment of federal unemployment money, the state that is all about being independent and all boot-strappy and we-don't-need-Washington and the-government-can't-do-anything-right, starting bitching when that very selfsame federal government didn't shower Texas with money after all our wildfires and others nastiness.
