CEO Gaming Results

More stuff unrelated to my gallery, but figured I might as well bother putting a cap onto the previous journal entry. To sum up the experience, it went better than expected and much fun (and performance anxiety) was had. And despite fighting games nowadays being known to have a very vocally toxic and negative playerbase everyone I met was super friendly and encouraging despite everyone wanting to win and get as far as possible in the tournaments they entered.

To elaborate on anything else: My dip into competitive Smash Bros. went as well as I figured. Got completely destroyed in my first matches. Dragon Ball FighterZ went way better and for my first time attending a major tournament some people said I didn't do so bad. Managed to get placed in rank #65 out of a list of over 600 players.

But since there were so many players the further down you are in rankings, other people's winning stats will be the same as yours or similar so a lot of people can share the same rank as you. There were 32 contestants that were ranked 65 along with me and after that, people were ranked 97 and so on. So it'd be more accurate to say I managed to be within the top 65-96 players at the event. Funny enough the opponents that beat me in winners and losers bracket made it to rank 25 and 33 so props to them.

For my first real tournament experience it went better than my worst expectations but I would have liked to make it to top 48 players. I'll just have to use that desire to improve my gameplay should I ever decide to compete in another major fighting game event anytime soon, though I'll probably be waiting a whole 'nother year for CEO and sticking with small scale local tournies as traveling around the world to participate in fighting games is just too expensive of a luxury.

Speaking of luxuries, more stuff for the gallery is on the way. Eventually. Hopefully there'll be something smutty before the end of the month...or at the very least a cute or sexy bikini pic.

The first competitive smash I've ever been in or even fighting game for that matter, was a smash tournament last year at my college. There weren't as many fighters but I did alright I was going in to the finals and it was a fight between me and someone who was a new friend I had made prior. The irony is that he was a Marth main and I hate Marth, Roy, and Lucina but that's for another time. Anyway I lost but it was a close match and I still had a lot of fun!

Kind of funny the way how that story you shared turned out. Kind of reminds me of this old friend of mine and we'd hang out almost every week just to play Smash Bros. together. Getting excited over the tournament scenes and trying to apply stuff we saw into our friendly matches and we'd try our best to get as many people together to play the game with us. But despite how often we'd play with others it was always more fun and felt like we were growing as players when it was me and my friend. Though those are some pretty distant memories now since all those kind of activities really petered down sometime after Smash for Wii-U came out. A mix of boredom and people just having busy lives I guess.

It's actually been so long that since I've played Smash 4 and Melee with other people that I just kind of stopped touching it. Then I came back to it for CEO and it just felt so sluggish and hard to play. So I think I'm just going stick FighterZ as my competitive game for now.

Oh but I've blabbed about that enough as is. Thanks for giving the journal read! I'm not usually one to make life update stuff on a site like this since I'm usually so secretive on account and considering what I normally focus on when logging onto this site. It's nice to find at least one other person enthusiastic about the subject and not just be single-mindedly focused on the furry smut (totally guilty of that myself though).

No biggy 'w' well in Smash Ultimate the pace seems to be back up again.

I do play Smash for Wii-U and it's actually really fun when you have 4 people and items (though we actually limit the items) just to add a bit more zaniness to the game.
