Long-overdue update. Also, Workhorse GAMES?

Hey folks, it's been a few weeks since my last journal, so I figure it's time to reach out to my lovely watchers who actually read my inane drivel.

See, there's a reason why I don't do many 'thank yous' for new watchers and shouts, and that's because... well, I hate giving out just generic 'thank you' messages to folks who start watching me. I work most of the time... hell, I work ALL the time to the point I get burnt out and then spend a period of time where I do little more than drool and stare at awful anime on Crunchyroll or badly play Game Dev Tycoon.
Terrible anime.
Terrible GDT performance.
But I'm going to make more of an effort to thank folks who watch me and leave shouts from here on in. It only takes a few minutes to see what folks are into on their profiles and I can leave a comment that's more than just a cut and paste thankyou. I can't promise I'll be able to do that for -everyone- but I'm going to at least make the effort.

So, aside from my new Wild Heat comic, which is now in production, I'm going to be working too on short Visual Novel games. Playing Game Dev Tycoon did in fact make me realize that I DO want to try and make a few games in my lifetime. I love video games but I don't have the programming chops for it, but I SHOULD be able to manage a simple visual novel game. I'm going to try making some romantic short scenarios and see how people respond.

My first game? I'm going to wander into new territory and do a furry android themed game called "User Friendly". In the near future, the player takes the role of a male 'fixer', an individual who repairs androids 'off the record' so rogue androids with no owners don't have to face eventual terminal shutdown, and repairs an android named AL1C3 (Hurrdurr) who has been coming to him for weeks needing unusual repairs.

Depending on how I do with User Friendly, I'm going to proceed to move into working on Wild Coast, which will be actually released in a series of 'chapters', so I can do multiple releases as time goes on without having to make the complete story first which would normally take a year or more to produce... or, if people just can't get enough User Friendly, I AM planning on making the game's end open-ended to allow the possibility for more chapters of it to be produced too.  Working with Visual Novel Maker, I understand its program flow MUCH better than I do RPG Maker VX Ace, which I have logged 152 hours on and still have no fucking clue what I'm doing. I'm just not a very good programmer.

So yeah, that's what's coming. I hope you enjoy my efforts!
Of course, I'm still running with Lani on the Depths too. If you're wondering where some of the pages are, I'm not actually going to post EVERY page of it since we want folks to actually go to the comic's page to read it.
