Cameron is a cat who I took care of for 19yrs. He passed away today around 1am give or take a few mins. Gave him .05mg of pain killer to help with what ever was hurting him then used a syringe full of water to help him swallow it. 5 minutes later I decided to give him a warm bath to clean the urine off him. He acted like any cat would he tried jumping but was to weak to get out of my grasp to. After a 5min bath I wrapped him up in a towel and started drying him of gently. But after 10mins of sitting there with him trying to calm him down from the pain. He jolted his head back and then he just stopped breathing and his heart gave out.
When I was a kid and he was really young when ever he decided to bite or attack me I would tease/torture him (not like anything deadly or severe) this to him but I didn't know any better. Like putting him under a box or laundry basket or suitcase when ever he decided to attack or bite me. Even after all that he would always snuggle and sleep with me. He didn't like anyone else so I started taking care of him. After a few years he basically stayed to himself and hid most of the time so that he could sleep and not be disturbed.
He went to the vet to get a hair cut they said they had to sedate him. When he came back he started getting the shakes and crying randomly. Then he would start laying on my lap and sleeping with me like he use to which was out of the ordinary for him. Not sure if he knew this would happen or what.
Anyways I have to get some money to get him autopsied and to get creamatied. Not sure how much it will cost but I know I wont have enough for it right away I would ask for help but I'm sure people have there own issues to deal with.
