...this is the very first time i caught myself wondering what would it be if ITALY (my home town) was in place of U.S.A.: what if my hometown language was the most spoken language in teh world,its culture was known by everywhere in the world ,its army was the most influent in teh world its "states" were united since the beginning and its currency (which is Euro as of now,but it could have easily been the famous Lira) was the base for any other currency in teh world and mostly what if ITALY was the n1 SUPERPOWER in the world ....would i have been happy of it? sarei stato contento di sentire TUTTO IL MONDO parlare la mia lingua OVUNQUE e di suonare le musiche del mio paese OVUNQUE? (use google translate for this,lol ) cos..yeah..this is the very first time in my Life i happen to cross over this thought deeply....but picture ,for a moment, PIzza in place of burgers...how would that EVEN work? O_O
"DA DEDONALDO" food chains instead of MCDDONALD'S making dishes like "Pasta" "Pizza" ,"Lasagne","Tortellini, "Frittura di paranza" all over the world instead of BURGERS.....mmh....that feels so weird to me even just after naming it....or even worse: everybody in the world having to play music generes like Pizzica,Tarantella, Liscio and Mazurka instead of Rock'n'roll Soul Blues Jazz and Funk...that almost freaks me out just at the bare though..but thats EXACTLY what would happen if Italy,as it is, would have been the n1 world's superpower... okay ,"vi chiedo scusa" for the silly insane train of thought ,but all in all no other day like the 4th of July would have been more apt for me to share this thought with you...
