Back from Tomkat

by
I'm back from Tomkat and coming home from France is getting closer (thursday night), all of us are suffering from what is nicknamed the Tomkat plague (someone had a cold and a lot of campers got it).

So, first let see what happened before the ABDL camp. Fiona and I met on the 6th (her plane was on time, but the airport luggage crew had a technical problem and all lugage got delayed, some lost). We took a nice hotel with lots of really nice furniture, really comfortable (tere websites do not allow link, so look up Nomad hotel paris, website is avialable in english). Everything is modern and customizable, our only disappointment was that, despite promised they would give us the means to do so, we couldn't use the projector in our room to watch stuff.

We had to leave the hotel the next day at midday, and with the wait at the airport, the plane ride itself (gods, they improved the comfort of those so much since I last crossed the atlantic, we enjoyed the Jumanji sequel and Coco and games), the customs (really tense moment) and the drive from Montreal to ottawa made for a total of over 20h travel. We were quite tired (and for me really soaked, but I had a Peekabu on, and it handled all the trip without problems but I had to change in the Montreal airport).

Before Tomkat we have gone to see Ready Player 1 (I quite enjoyed it, I'll make a review for it in my next Marfin Critic), tried Canadian bowling ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Five-pin_bowling ) it was quite nice even if I didn't do good and worse than I do in normal bowling (but the lighter balls are so much less strenuous) and we have gone to one of those places that have jungle gyms, arcades games, laser tags and bumpers cars. I always wanted to go to such a jungle gym that accepted adults (and this one did, because kids aren't allowed past 9 PM) and I love laser tags and bumpers cars. Sadly, bumpers cars were out of order, many arcade games didn't work and since it was the last day of ramadan they were two muslims families who were still hanging past 11 PM and never leaving the Jungle gym. After having fun in the small indoor roller coaster (the only roller coaster one in the entire state) and nice laser tag battles (puppy is slow to shoot, but great accuracy, Mommy rocked everyone. The first battle was 9 against 11, but despite being in numerical inferiority, our team blasted the other one). Finally, grandpa and I decided to go into the gymp despite kids still being there (kids aren't allowed in the place after 9 PM, but they don't have a policy to kick them out, hence the problem). Two grown men going in scared the muslims and they left for home and we had some fun but I quickly started to fall asleep.

On the monday we left for TOMKAT, the ABDL camp. Some problems made us arrived three hours late and putting the tents together and tiredness killed all of that day for us. They were lots of activities at the Camp : boardgames, storytime, make what they called Unicorn foam (a really silly thing that is like an ooze), sock puppets (sadly we never got to make our little socket theater), fingerpainting, fun with foam, scavenger hunt, chalk wars (throwing little grenades of chalk everywhere), discover spanking 101 (Snow, next time, I'm giving you a real spanking), baby relay games (crawl and bring back balls and throw plushies as far as possible), stocking decorating, plushie tea party, white elephant ( a small gift exchange in which some people can steal gifts from others), yard sale (so many diapers and baby stuff at so low prices, sadly nothing in my size... still got a Care Bear paci clip), pirate battle (quite big thing, I was on the pirate side and we won !), raffle (lots of really good prizes, like onesies and sleepers, despite buying only 6 tickets and expecting nothing, I got 2nd and 4th prizes, since it was a first arrived first served for prizes I had choice, picked up two onesies... sadly, they were in Australian sizes and I didn't know, and so the one I got for myself doesn't fit me and the one I got for mommy only fit me) and finally talent and fashion show (I did a show with Snow in which I was in Fiona's fursuit and playing a puppy that didn't do what he was told). After that was a campfire wishing, but picking the campfire next to the lake at the peak of mosquito activity wasn't a good idea.

Overall, the bad points :
- lots of pressure on me, you know, social anxiety, self-hatred because people walk there in just diapers and I'm too ashamed of my own body
- Mosquitoes. Bugs sprays were inefficient, I've counted over 30 bites and Mommy got it much worse than me. At least, they don't itch.
- Location : our tent spot was filled with tree stumps and at an angle, so super uncomfortable (my ribs still hurts of sleeping on one of them). I'm surprised they gave us such a spot when it would have been comfortable only with a smaller tent (and even that, with only one person in).
- Not doing enough for Snow : he was clearly also uncomfortable, and I should have given him a spank, tell him to put a diaper on and follow me to some activites.
- Chaotic timeline : I missed some activities because there starting and ending time had been changed without being able to know when they would be happening.
- Heat : gods, at times it was so hot, especially in the tent, I overheated many times.
- Masturbation : people being so stoned they couldn't see and people flauting their naked body (also, a guy messing his diaper next to my nose while I was sitting and waiting a long time before saying he needed to change his messy diaper) was not something I liked, but it was allowed so I'm not gonna complain about it, but the fact two people masturbated each other on the common couch in the common room in which lots of activities and lunches happen is to me too much.
- Tea party : I had suggested Tomkat to make one of those, and Snow ans his mommy ended directing it, I helped, but another guy started to take over and lots of people started to take all the spots for it before we were done preparing ended with me (and a couple of others) on the sidelines unable to get into the center where the activity actually took place. It made me feel really bad.
- Tomkat plague : someone had a cold and contaminated a lot of people, including all 4 of us (I had a really crappy monday and tuesday).

As you can see, outside of the masturbation and tent location, the problems were either with me or just sad random events nobody could do much about. Let's go over the good points now :

- Lots of really nice activities : I listed those I participated in, but they were others, really interesting (but the focus on craft and messy stuff sometimes made me choose to just relax).
- Being a baby : really nice to be yourself without too much fear of judging, even if i think a lot of people were polite when they said i was cute.
- Meeting Snow and his mommy : they were nice, and the little plushie is quite gentle and cute and soft, we had two sleepovers there (they had better equipment and spot than us).
- Lots of good offers, from a free pack of diapers when registering to the really generous raffle.
- Some really nice people, even if I'm not sure they liked me, they did made me feel good.

Overall, a really nice, great experience, like none I had before in 19 years as an ABDL. I would like to try it again, especially if my social anxieties starts to lower around those people.

Return to Ottawa was uneventful and today we dealt with transformers buying, being sick and going to see Incredibles 2 (disappointing after 14 years, feel like a good direct to DVD not a big screen release).

The masturbating part would be a turn off on going again in a place for a place were people hanged out and ate... they should have had some kind of rules there.

Ugh, absolutetly!!
I've wanted to go somewhere like that. It sounds REALLY fun, and different, but I am not going to even consider, if it's gonna be dirty and sexual and have even one person who is so dense they just masturbate or mess themselves without understanding how RUDE it is. I really don't want to see that, it would ruin my experience.

This is such a small community, especially IRL that it's very hard to block rude ppl out, I think..? Those who do it just for fetish and don't consider others ruin things. Nothing wrong with fetish part, but.. there should be a private area for that.

Yeah that's what I thought, I've not been  to Tomkat but know people involved in putting it on, I thought there was a specific area for naughty play, or you could go into the woods to play, but in the common areas it was supposed to be all G rated.

Je suis bien trop timide, encore plus que toi et je ne connais personne. Et puis, je ne saurais pas ou trouver le temps.
