We tried, and failed, the FCC just killed net neutrality and before long we will lost everything we held dear and the internet will turn into a 1984 style dystopia where only the elite and privileged can do anything.
My dreams of being a writer are over, Even if I can afford to pay the fees to keep putting my stories online the people who want to read my stories won't be able to afford them.
It was nice knowing all of you on the internet but I guess it's time for us to all say goodbye, hang up our pens, brushes, paints, markers and other artistic implements and step into the corporate apocalypse from which there is no escape.
