Wreck it Raph 2 gonna be...

Shit, is the thing I think about the new trailer. Remember when I showed you the pic of reference of disneyanimation.com a time ago and I asked everybody about the logos of internet? We talked maybe Disney should use parodies of the companies, but looks like Disney wasted a lot of money on buy licenses for show the different products of internet and, well this suprised me because then it means (for me), Disney really want to control all those companies... if is not doing it right now.

This is the first point, the second point is, damn it with the designs of the princess on 3d, the classics looks terrible, Pocahontas and Mulan looks so bad. I am sad and angry, this will be another emoji-pixels movie or something like, I don´t know.

I should prefer Gigantic than this thing.

And that´s all, is my viewpoint I wanted to share, let me know your opinnion and I really hope don´t see Bambi on 3d on this movie because I´m gonna die.  xD

See you.

Nah, the difference between Wreck it Ralph and the Emoji Movie is that Ralph 2 has a team of high quality experts working on it, trying to craft a genuinely expressive movie and a plot with lots of potential.

Do you think has potential? is full of randoms and cameos, is for make the people go to see the movie, it worked perfectly with the first movie when showed Sonic (and only appeared 5 seconds or something like), and the trailer is not showing the plot.

At least the plot and execution and overall design seems better than the godawful FoodFight! by Larry Kasanoff.
I absolutely loved the trailer and I wait with faded breath at it's performance.

Let´s see, for now I have low hopes for this movie.

you are right but thing is, Disney is know for their quality animated movies, there have been some misses but those are very few and far between, also of course its full of Randoms and cameos, they are in the internet. I heard no complaints about that with Roger Rabbit and that was full of Randoms and Cameos too but your not the first person I have seen say what you said.

It has potential, we will just have to see if it was wasted

But on Roger Rabbit is justify because on the begining of the story explain why appear the characters, and are small cameos and not affect or distract the main story, none of the characters interact directly with Roger Rabbit and the plot.

Let´s see what happen, but for now I have low expectations of this movie, I really wanted Gigantic than this.

I just saw a newer trailer. Yeah, there's lots of camoes including the Princesses, but otherwise, it feels like the first movie did, and I have yet to see a bad Pixar movie.

And Cinderella using her shoe as a weapon, clever message for children, very clever...

After seeing the trailer, the pancake scene left me so disgusted.
Atlasfield

Me too, I found it kind of disturbed... it should supposed to be funny?
LupineAssassin

There's nothing funny about it. I lost sleep for a week over that fucking scene.
Atlasfield

Yeah, and more for the sound effects...

I know some folks working on it, and I think it'll be very funny and clever from what I've seen. Don't judge it too harshly by the trailer. I'm very much looking forward to it.

I don´t, I have time following it too and I find it useless, we don´t need second parts, Disney is returning again with this topic, is not necessary, if wanted make this movie, should used new characters, not make a second part, the first ended (surprisingly) with a cute message, should leaved there and not make another part.

I don't have any problem with good stories being told with characters that people love.

It's just a fun movie, I wouldn't be so concerned about it.

Well only consider on this trailer Cinderella convert her shoe into a weapon, are you ever see something like this on a princess of Disney? only this happen on the cartoons of Batman or something like. Is an ugly message for children as I can say. Is supposed to be funny? not really.

I think kids are smart enough to understand when something's a joke. I don't understand why you think that Cinderella pointing her shoe at someone is too scary for kids but having animals with shock collars on in Zootopia would be cool. But in the end people enjoy different things and I'm sure a movie will come along that appeals to you more.

Is not scary, it can give ideas for do something stupid, children imitate everything without consider the risks, or at least our mexican children...
Teko

Do Mexican children have glass slippers or child size shock collars? I think you’re reading way too much into a silly cartoon.
Atlasfield

I don´t get your comment, but I will say: is lack of common sense, and you need to come to Mexico for understand what I am talking about.

We will see if it will be any good or not.
I guess we will have to wait.
But to be completely honest, for me Disney has lost most of its' magic by now.
I love the classic hand-drawn animated movies.
Some of the computer animated stuff is fine but at least for me it has never had the same effect.
Disney shouldn't be just "fine". It should be awesome.
But lately I find myself looking at other movie companies and enjoy their products just as much or sometimes even way more.
I sincerely doubt that "Wreck-It Ralph 2" will be the movie to change that.

Though the worst animated movie in existence so far still has to be "The Emoji Movie".
That one is even worse than "Food Fight". Cause "Food Fight" had at least the excuse that it got basically destroyed just a little time before its' release. And it still at least tried to be its' own thing.
As bad as that movie is it didn't make me angry. It caused a severe headache but it didn't make me angry.

We will see where Ralph 2 fits in.

Yeah, I miss the 2d movies, and lately I am looking 3d movies from other companies too, even the indie products has more better topics or ideas when maybe has lack of quality of animation, but sometimes the message is more important than the visual.

It looks like a bad movie.

I like the old types of movies like Pinocchio. They don't make those anymore. The original Zootopia was close.
Atlasfield

And it would be more interesting the first idea of zootopia, with this thing of the collars control the predator instinct and make a kind of animal distopia would be creepy but cool.

The classics are the best era of Disney, my favorite era was 60´s and 70´s; when Don Bluth worked there.

I've never looked up the original idea behind Zootopia.  The collar thing seems kinda overwhelming.  It doesn't feel like its sending the right message.

You should investigate it, is very interesting the scenes.

The trailer is "Disney strokes themselves off over how many IPs they own". Which is what the movie is.

All I wanted were some video games. We started at the arcade, we should have moved to home consoles with the advent of the internet connectivity. But no.

This is like taking Toy story and making a sequel about talking sports cars and calling it "Toy story". Just fuck right off, disney.

Basically a SFM fandom movie; characters of TF2 with Ponies on weird situations or something like.  :v
Daneasaur

One of those would actually be interesting and actually have something to do with video games.
Atlasfield

Yes because is material created by people, normal and common people, and is more interesting.

I'm not interested in the movie.  Didn't care much for the first one.  I'll see it when I see it.

It's hard to make a sequel to a series that was good the first time around.  Does it need it?  It's hard to say.  People like to see sequels of their favorite characters to get more of them.
When I watch the trailer you speak of it reminds me of Kingdom Hearts.  That game made you visit a bunch of worlds from your childhood.  It had so many references.  When I saw that scene with the princesses (some of them looked bad, and I agree with you on that) they showed that room that looked like Disney World with the cluster of Disney owned brands.  Star Wars, Muppets, Marvel, etc.

Where this movie is trying to appeal is in two ways.  All these businesses are apart of the internet and the children growing up now are infused into that.  When we were kids the cartoons shown on tv was what we saw all the time.  You see all the princesses, the reference to Winnie The Pooh, Star Wars, Muppets, Marvel Super Heros, etc.
The other way is that it's trying to appeal to the adults.  The adults can recognize all the click bait articles, they know more about the businesses behind the internet, and I'm certain they're gonna put some adult-centric jokes in there too.

I'm hoping it's not too heavy into the business side of the internet and more about online games.  The first movie had arcades then this movie showed the owner connecting to the internet.  You'd figure it would be less like emoji movie and all its conglomerate of brands.

In that case it will mean the thing always think: how many money Disney inverted on buy licenses for appear all those companies of internet, I think Disney secretly is owner of all those.

Is controlling us.  :v
