Damn it...

Yesterday was less than optimal.
My 16 year old Calico "Squeaky" quit working.
She was behind the tea cart in the kitchen, she couldn't walk, and
had pissed herself sometime in the middle of the night.
After retrieving her, she didn't want to have anything to do with
food or water.

It was "time."
I took her to the vet.

She is no longer in pain.
She is with the brother Tubster, her adopted father Boofers and
her idiot uncle Mickey.

It's really hard to type when you're crying.

If you aren't a cat person, it's hard to understand. When cats are with you, they're there CONSTANTLY. Losing one is like losing a part of yourself. My two Siamese are in their mid to upper teens, and showing signs of age.
I'm sorry, my friend. Wish I could be there. The pain of loss is the price we pay for the happiness and love that they brought so abundantly for all of those years.

You have my condolences...  No words now will ease the pain I'm sure, but it will fade and the happiness and memories are forever.  Always have the Rainbow bridge.

I'm very sorry, but at least she lived a long life, you gave her love and a good home.
