Well Fuck me

by
So after a storm hit my area hard, apparently the power went out or surged and caused my computer to kill itself and now i can't turn it on anymore. I have tried everything so yeah its a dead piece of shit. Though i feel it was its time to go. So i was feeling shitty already and this took the cake. So yeah time to save and get another one. so now ill be on my tablet tilli feels like it wants to kill itself too.

Geez, that sucks man, I'm sorry to hear that. Hopefully you can get a new one soon; I used to have to unplug my computer during storms, because of surge risk, but now I have a power supply on my computer, that doubles as a surge protector, so it can't fry. I hope that you can recover your data too

Eh, I sympathise. I myself had my fair share of corrupted HDD and other computer stopping responding.
Personally, I was so feed up that I decided to buy a UPS (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uninterruptible_power_supply)  plug connecting my laptop, computer and ps4. Works well so far, especially the ps4 who can get corrupted data during a power outage.

I strongly agree.  A UPS is the best inventment you can make.

It guy here.  Laptop or desktop.  If it s a desktop shut the power switch on the power supply to the off position and unplug.  Then hit the power button on the comp.  Then plug it all back in turn the switch on and turn the computer on.  Sometimes residual power can fuck with a supply.
