Holy Molly! This is War!

A shootout near of the bookstore.  D:

It happened on the evening, I was reading comments and other things on my laptop... and damn with the weather... then I heard noises, I was thinking "it could be shots?", around 7-9 "bangs", then passed a couple of minutes and the police arrived, and then the army... I don´t see nothing, but was near of a market, near of my job. I was worried for my family because they arrived of a travel... wow!  :(

I never felt the danger too close of our busyness...

I feel sad, this is getting horrible again.

Sadly it happens. Had similar experiences myself and a reason why I cant stand living in the ghetto or around druggies and drunks.  But it does happen and kinda have to always keep on your toes about it

Yeah, but I work on a bookstore, and the assault was on the street. It was first confusing and then scary, and more when the army arrived.

I could see why, but this kind of thing does happen and you cannot stop it. But it gets political and I cannot stand the endless cycle of banter with politics.

Yeah I cannot stop it, but maybe I can "evade" it... and is getting worse, the "evil" (I cannot say what is it, only mexicans can understand) of 10 years ago is returning on my city, I don´t know how the heck we survived in those years, but if this thing returns again, it will be time to leave everything... and make many sacrifaces.  :(

Yeah... sadly it can happen anyplace, anytime.   I heard shots near my place of residence followed by sirens in a relatively quiet neighborhood.   Stupidity rears it's ugly head.

Oh no! Stay safe, and I hope things get better there. I was surprised to hear of the shooting in Guadalajara last week, since that city is supposed to be pretty safe. It made me worry a little bit, since I'll be going there for Confuror.

Oh boy, Guadalajara is right now a war zone, is controlled for one of the most dangerous cartels. Guadalajara was secure... but maybe 10 years ago.  :(

Someone got shot in front of my apt literally 30 minutes b4 i went to work the very week b4 halloween. So i see where you're coming from, hope things get better tho and im glad you're at least safe

Oh deer... in halloween? is weird and stupid.  :/

I find difficult the things going to be better, and maybe will getting worse because on july 1st in Mexico we have presidential election, thankfully Peña Nieto is leaving but the new candidates are... difficult. Exist rumors of something ugly will happen depending who win.

There is a difference when you hear gun shots between where I live, and where I am working on the commercial property my relatives want to sell;

Where I live is in a rural area of Arkansas. When you hear gun shots, it is either someone hunting or target practicing.

The commercial property is in a metropolitan area of Florida. When you hear gun shots there, it is a shooting.

Is not that part were live hillbillys and those things? I don´t know too much about the problems on USA, but here, when are shots, it means Call of Duty is real.

Where I live is what folks refer to as "Hillbilly Land"...Very little crime, and you can do pretty much what you want.
