1. The birth and sacrifice to the Minotaur. There's been plenty of Taur-like characters, out there, but not many have actually gone into the actual story of the birth of the Minotaur, its incarceration in the Labyrinth, and the young sacrifices sent in to sake its lusts (blood and otherwise). Why not?
2. Priapus. For those into hyper, this is a no-brainer, I would think; the Greek God of male fertility, forced to have a humongous perpetual erection that he has to carry around everywhere...
3. The Sacred Band of Thebes. Just learned about these guys; 150 men, all made up of pairs of gay lovers, trained as a nigh-unbeatable squadron for Thebes' army, they made their mark as the key to the defeat of the Spartan army in the Battle of Leuctra. Sadly, they got wiped out in the Battle of Chaeronea by the Macedonians, but still, all-male gay army, how can you NOT get into that?
4. The tale of Tu'er Shen. Not many people know of this Chinese homosexuality god, born from the Fujiyan province, especially after China's Cultural Revolution, but it's still a fascinating tale; a soldier falls in love with a fellow officer and gets caught spying on him in the shower. The officer, disgusted, has the man tortured and killed, but since the gods felt it was undeserving a punishment for such a sin (which they considered an act of the heart and not of evil), they turned the soldier into a deity resembling a one year old rabbit, and he went into an elder's dream to demand a temple be built for him to allow gay lovers to worship him and give thanks to him as he watches over them. So, yeah, gay twink rabbit boy god, can't argue with that, now can we?
