Hey everyone. Gamerdog Flynn here with a stream announcement for tonight.
I'm going to be picking up with Chrono Trigger (SNES). Last time we left our heroes, they saw a shocking video in 2300AD of an event called The Day of Lavos. The video captured the exact moment that an entity known as Lavos erupted from inside the planet and rained destructive rays across its surface, virtually wiping out humanity.
Our intrepid adventurers used the advanced tech of the era to locate another Gate. Upon recruiting and twice repairing electronic buddy Robo, the gang was able to enter the Gate to return home. However, the Gate behaved strangely, according to the Conservation of Time Theorem.
Whenever more than three beings travel through a gate, they end up in the time period of least resistance: the End of Time.
Fortunately, a mysterious old man, one of two residents of this strange place, informed the heroes of the rules of time travel, and points them to Spekkio, the Master of War. Spekkio imparted the gift of magic to Chrono, Lucca, and Marle - but not Robo, whose laser weapons will suffice.
Armed with new skills, the gang takes the shining pillar of light that will take them to Medina Viage, 1000 AD...
"So! Fortified with magic! Wanna try it out?"
