also, while I'm on the subject of commission-related things, I'd like to mention something that I worry about a lot, and probably should have posted a journal about a long time ago...
if you commission me for something, not knowing how I manage work and that kind of thing, and then you see me posting personal art pretty regularly, yet taking awhile to send the next update on your paid project, it could (very understandably) look like I'm spending all my drawing time on personal work, while leaving commission work to languish. I promise you that this is not the case!
so, here's how it goes. I am a contract worker, and my "job" is made up of all sorts of different one-off projects. all of my work is on a commission basis; some is furry art, some is other types of art, and the rest is whatever other graphical work comes along. I generally spend my days getting through my paid work, and then any personal art I do gets drawn on evenings and weekends. all those things are done "off the clock", as it were, and are never being worked on instead of commission work. I promise.
I just wanted to reassure folks of that, and I'm sorry for not doing so sooner!
