That's a question which many of us have been asking. Why in the past few million years, that evolution picked us, and not some other creature. For millions of years, dinosaurs ruled the planet, and then evolution decided their time was up.
What is my point? I don't know if I have one, as we're just do lucky so many events came to play. Unfortunately someday evolution will decide our time is up too, and there will be a different creature dominate of all others. Will they grow into the technology we have? Good question, which I can not answer.
There's many questions we ask, and there's a lot, which we do not know the answers for. I often hope that there's something after death, but there's a good chance, that there's nothing there. No afterlife. If we actually had a soul, we'd be able to learn by now, how to separate it from out minds and bodies, and experience things from a ghost's perspective.
IDK. There's still mysteries in this universe, which we do not yet know. There's no absolute answer as to why or how the universe got together. Spontaneous appearing and disappearing of atoms and molecules. Chemicals got along well, and the universe started, and was probably at first the size of a marble.
