I'm only writing this out of a necessity. Time and time again, I've seen this fandom tear itself apart due to people showing how some high profile furs are simply put bad people.
This time it's not the case. This time its the argument about cub pornography and cub artwork. Frankly, my stance is that illustrations are not real life. And that there's a thing called "innocent until Proven guilty." SO. The witch hunts (that are occurring on twitter) does not help in distinguishing the individuals in question as guilty or innocent. Far from it in fact.
Child Pornography is a very serious crime that, even if the person was acquitted of the crime, their life would essentially be over. I don't know how a person could bounce back from an accusation like that.
And people throw around the notion that Cub pornography (fictional depictions) is the same as child pornography (real depictions)! Where's the line? And how can people think they're judge, jury, and executioner?
There is a system in place. And as far as i know that system is put there for a reason so that these witch hunts do not spill innocent blood.
Now, onto the fact that Inkbunny in of itself is a controversial website because it does allow cub, unlike Furaffinity, or, to my knowledge, Sofurry. That being said, Furaffinity sucks. I had my drivers liscense leaked because of a moderators incompetence to delete it once they were done with it. Luckily for me i censored the sensitive bits, even if my face and name are still there.
Inkbunny is my youngest account, and it has grown, almost to 100 watchers and 10,000 submission views. That being said; i'm not going to bow down to public opinion if it comes to it.
I will not shut down my Inkbunny account. And i implore others to not waver as well.
If i break this promise, call me out on it.
Thanks for reading,
Luka.
