Marfin critic : cloverfield, the orville...

- Legends of tomorrow season 3  : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Legends_of_Tomorrow
While I like the development of the new character of Ava Sharpe and the storylines of all the others, especially the return of my favorite Arrowverse character Constantine, the story is a bit short. 18 episodes tend to not allow to fully develop a new bad guy and all the overarching plot. 3,75 barks out of 5

- Cloverfield paradox : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Cloverfield_Paradox
I didn't liked the original Cloverfield and while I liked the sequel, this movie is again more a spin-off than a prequel as it is so different from the original style. As people have said, it's a pot-pourri of a lot of different science-fiction movies, also many horrors ones, in a confusing but predictable story. I have mixed feelings about it, some of the scenes were quite nice but it's too predictable overall. 2,5 barks out of 5

- Fullmetal alchemist (live action) : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fullmetal_Alchemist_(film)
I am confused by this movie. It has the special effects that the live action The last Airbender movie should have, but everything else is so so wrong. I mean, the actors don't fit the part, the story is so hacked it's barely recognisable and is full of plot holes... with how much they had to work with they should have done one plot arc instead of the entire first season for the movie. It end being quite awfull. 1 barks out of 5

- Equestria girls : forgotten friendship https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/My_Little_Pony:_Equestria...
This short movie is super predictable. It is obvious where they are going and all that, but it's still enjoyable. EQ Girls has grown into its own thing, reusing what is needed from MLP but not being a copy. This one really sound like the pilot of a tv show, all the tropes for it (including recap intro from previous movies) are here. Despite suffering from this weak plot, it's still quite nice. 3,5 barks out of 5

- The orville : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Orville
I was suspicious of that show at first, seeing it as only a parody of star trek and unable to keep my interest for an entire season. I love Galaxy quest, but I would not watch an entire tv show about it, they would run out of ideas pretty quickly. The pilot is exactly that, but the serie right after become star trek with humor. It's good, it's refreshing and I really want to see more of it. 4,25 barks out of 5

- Scooby-doo & batman : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scooby-Doo!_%26_Batman:_T...
This cross-over based on the Brave and the Bold tv show plays on the old teams-ups from the 70's between such characters, as the entire tv show was about. It's silly, funny, humorous and all. It's not a great story but it has a lot of funny moments. 3,5 barks out of 5

- Lego the flash : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lego_DC_Comics_Super_Hero...
Disappointing. It's just reusing a lot of previous legos and the flash shows without bringing anything. It's super boring overall. 1,75 barks out of 5

- Gumball season 5 : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Amazing_World_of_Gumball
I overall really enjoy that show and the sillyness it goes through, the original characters and overall willingess to go anywhere. This season keep going that way, but as more and more season are made, there is more and more boring episodes for less and less good ones. Good ideas run dry. Still, it is good. 3 barks out of 5

- Star wars : rebels season 5 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Wars_Rebels
So it is finished. It end just before a new hope (with an epilogue set after the battle of Endor) and explains what happens to all the characters and what they did during the original trilogy. It set is very well to not get in the way of the first trilogy, give it a proper ending and let us wonder what can happen between the original and sequel trilogy. There is a bit too much of force is magic, but lots of reused plots and ending stories from Clones Wars. 3,75 barks out of 5

- Batman : Gotham by Gaslight https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Batman:_Gotham_by_Gaslight
It's well done, well adapted as far as I can tell, I got surprised by the choice of villain but... outside of it, I was not surprised by anything. I have seen it all in all the steampunk stuff going on. Nothing original or new. Maybe the source material was original when it was released, but all this is to me seen way too often. Still, it's a good movie. 3,25 barks out of 5

- Lego guardians of the galaxy : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lego_Marvel_Super_Heroes_...
Same as previous, way too "I've seen this before" feeling but it's still enjoyable. 3,15 barks out of 5

- Avengers assemble season 4 : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Avengers_Assemble...
I quite enjoyed the whole finding the avengers and battleworld, letting us see new themes and team-ups. I would have wanted more episodes about the strange peoples of Battleworld, who get a bit rushed. 4 barks ouf of 5

- Mickey and the roadster racers : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mickey_and_the_Roadster_R...
I feel it's Disney's counterpart to Paw Patrol based on the style and stories. It's middleground : a really classical recipe used over and over. 2,5 barks out of 5

- Star wars : forces of destiny https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Wars_Forces_of_Destiny
Again showing that women are important in star wars (despite one full men episodes) and explaining little side stories of the universe (Luke's training on Dagobah, how and who came up with the plan of Leia disguised to infiltrate Jabba's palace). They are shorts, but to the point and give you a lot of character development. 4,25 barks ouf of 5

- Constantine, city of demons : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Constantine:_City_of_Demons
What I thought was a sequel to the Arrowverse's constantine is actually a sequel to Justice League : dark. With 5 episodes there isn't much to go on but it looks interesting. Final review with more seasons.

- Star vs the forces of evil season 3 : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_vs._the_Forces_of_Evil
How can they keep up with so many ideas, so much original stuff and epic level storytelling ? I do not know, but I sure enjoy it and want more ! 4,5 barks ouf of 5

- Dinotrux season 7 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Dinotrux_episodes...
A second season of Supercharge, who have all the characters get a new power-up... most of the episodes are just toy selling and not that great. The few others, like the new villains, are quite enjoyable. The season being only 7 episodes long, not much to save it, but it's still enjoyable. 3 barks ouf of 5
