Greetings and bienvenue, all. This is the final journal of the month, and I am very pleased to say that everyone is in for a treat!
About a good week ago or so (Estimating, pardon me), we actually passed 100 watches on FurAffinity! I've a picture in mind for the occasion, but I have a better idea. Rather than just me make a picture just for the occasion whenever we pass a given follower count, I will make two pieces to celebrate; One made from my own original intentions, and another where, you the people who made this all happen, get to put forth an idea for me! This way, both artist and watcher can be quite involved. The logistics of the latter plan, however, will come with its' own unique issues; Given how this journal is being cross-published on numerous sites, let alone FA, that means that several ideas from various sources will be submitted and produced. But, like my own personal shortcomings, I shall overcome them to the best of my abilities!
With April right around the figurative and literal corner, I have many big goals for not only the month, but also the rest of the year and beyond!
Easter is going to be BIG. I have over a dozen pieces planned and in production, so keep an eye out! However, given how Easter is on the first of April, that means that I will not be uploading any pieces on that day. I apologize for this, but I merely want to be able to avoid the traffic that comes from the silly little pseudo-holiday. Thus, I will be uploading things across the week. From the second of the month to the ninth, things will be split up accordingly. I am planning on getting a bunch of related sketches in as well (Of varying degrees of completion). I am so excited for this, as not only do I have plenty of things outlined and ready, but I've also managed to get some stuff out that I thought I would never do!
Mayternity is practically next month in May, and I'm so revved up for it! These will be my first set of dedicated contributions to the pregfur community and I intend to deliver! A lot of lovely expecting ladies are going to be included, allowing for wholesome and wonderful fun. Keep an eye out if that interests you!
The Mecha Bi-Month Special is also pretty much next month. As I've stated before, all of May and June will be dedicated to nothing but the good stuff of the giant mechanical variety (Both actual and relative). Of course, this will be properly balanced with Mayernity, so fear not! This has been something I've been wanting to do for almost three years now, so without further ado, here we go!
Commissions are likely to be open soon. I'm working towards getting payment plans down, and I will be getting them up on here and my other accounts as soon as possible. Feel free to take a look when they arrive!
On another note, requests are still open! Per week, I am planning on doing up to five requests. That way, there's enough room for people to get their's in while also giving me some wiggle room between requests. Eventually, I plan to expand out to ten to fifteen requests per week, but like a lot of things, we'll have to see. Upscaling production like that will take some time.
April is also going to be big because I intend to test myself by uploading at least one thing every day. It will be very tough for me, but I am hellbent on succeeding on this. This is a new year where I intend to break myself from the mold and become something better. I've had enough of the kind of life I live and the person I am, and I'm sure all of those who know me are as well. Here's to true success.
To wrap things up, I have been looking at some stuff by various FA users who have taken screenshots of their myriad encounters and scenarios within Second Life, and I do have to say; One, I'm a bit surprised SL is still going, but it does make sense. A good thing will not be phased out that quickly. Two, it got me to thinking. Back in 2011 to 2012, I planned to make a whole set of anthro models for Garry's Mod that were properly programmed and of good quality. Needless to say, it got me to thinking. Considering that almost all of my projects from that time are pretty much stuck in limbo (Mainly due to the fact that every single project file is on my original hard drive, which have still yet to be recovered). With all the time it would take for me to get these particular models going for Gmod, I could make them as general purpose CG models.
To make sense of all this and get straight to the point, I would like to make something big for the community; Anthro models that are free use and royalty free, setting a new standard. Honestly, I don't really want compensation when it comes to these things. The fact that people will have something awesome and properly made is all I need. Not to mention I would already have commissions going, so if people want something truly personalized, I can easily help them out with that. But that's one of many things I have planned for the future, and one I will be intent upon pursuing to the fullest.
