Lil About Me..

I have been asked several times a little about me and the like.. so I decided after some thought to post a little about me here on IB!

Ok  first off the screen name belongs to my husband Blindrabbit,

Second, Sigh,  I am a widow (Yup sad but yes).. I lost my husband to cancer a couple  years ago.  I have no biological kids but I do have eight that we adopted during that time that we call our own.  They range from just over three to fourteen in age.

I as for hobbies am into Ham Radio, (Thanks, hun for getting me into this.) collectables, books, and crafts, camping, road trips, good food, cartoons and having overall a good time.

Sorry, just to make it known I am not looking for a relationship because I gave my heart to someone.. even in death I still love him..

My occupation..  Well,, that has shifted over the last few months..  I use to drive for Fedex with help from my in laws,, but they are getting older and cannot do as much  with watching a house full of kids so I took a local job in manufacturing and quality control for a company that makes outdoor power equipment, and it pays more too. The shift work makes it easier for me and my in laws too.

Where on the planet am I?  I am near Myrtle Beach but north between Holden Beach and Wilmington..

What I like about the Furry Fandom... It gives us a gateway to be something we all connect with one or the other.. such as love for animals, the impossible, the creativity in art,  and the joy of meeting others.  There is a lot of talent I am very happy to have you all share with me and others and I am very glad you all share your talents for us all to enjoy.

What Furry Character do you relate to more?  Well I have been called Tiger because of the Chinese Zodiac for the year I was born in,, so that works for me.. Rabbit called me that too..

Do you have a Fur suit?  No, but I would love one!

What I am not into...Role playing,, asking my sexual preferences are.. etc.. (Im shy in RL)

What I want my watches and Shouts to know...
I don't draw, because of time., and I can't get then time to reply to all of you and those tho have stopped in to visit and say hi , to watch me,  I really thank you for doing so..  I have some real friends here I have grown to know and trust and have shared a lot of personal things with them and  with my late before his passing that I am forever in gratitude to you all for,  There is not enough lines to say thank you for that.

If I had a talent would I post it here on IB?  Yes I would..

What Matters the most from your friends..
Being who you are,, not be judging for what a person is on the outside but on inside,, having a ear to lend,, a heart to give.. and hope to set free..

I hope this lil about me gives an idea of who I am for those that are curious...
and thanks for reading this lil journal.

Tiff..

You and Rabbit were always into something...

And yeah you need to get that other eye looked at so those thin legs don't go by ya too quick now..

Hey

It's great to get a little background info on yourself, I know Rabbit used to share many of his thoughts with me back in the day too so it's nice to put 2 and 2 together :p

Good to hear you are also keeping yourself busy and doing well.

Notice you mention about being referred to as a tiger, perhaps sometime we can come to agreement and I can do a picture for you :)

Thanks for the continued support and as always you will always have mine too.
Takecare Tiff and say thanks to Rabbit for me too :)

Hi Keke

It has and will always be a pleasure to see and share thoughts and Ideas with you on your art.  I too have seen and commented on many of your pics and stated how well and detailed they are.

Yeah, Tiger was an abbreviation from an old screen name back on the old AOL days..

I would love to work out some ideas for an avatar for me here.. just pm me and I would love to discuss it..

AS for Rabbit.. he always will be loved..

((hugs))

Hi Penguin..

Yeah I am over here keeping his life alive via friends,, I have seen you all over the place but I wanted to finally tag ya to let you know that Rabbit wished he had the right gear to work ya on 80m.. CW or SSB..  He never got to enjoy the 718 he bought,

It is still sitting at his work table.. never turned on..

But he did get me into ham radio.. only a tec but I am working on upgrading,,

Nothing wrong with a Tec at all! :-D
I'm a chronic homebrewer. I'm notorious for taking the DDS or PLL out of commercial gear and adding it into a tube chassis XD
BR and I also had some good conversations on radio valves.

I remember some of those conversations,,, He loved to get into chats about all kinds of radio stuff and sound amplifiers antennas
home brew and solder kits too...  He posted a kit he built back before his health went down hill and gave it away in an auction over on FA..
He was going to cut Plexiglas and make an enclosure.. but he got too sick to use power tools..

oh btw I am actually in fm03va and not fm14 like some sites have me listed as,,  FM 14 and FM 13 are rare to work grids,, only a few hundred feet of Fort Fisher is in fm13.. while the so called "Bird Island" is fm14
