I was released from the hospital and am home on bed rest and antibiotics. I am so so glad to be home. The hospital was awful.up until yesterday I was too out of it to even post anything at all , but I am slowly starting to feel better. My appetite is back and my fever is staying below 101 at night , and is non existent during the day.
It feels so good to have slept a night in my own bed with my sweet kitty Chloe nestled beside me. The hospital beds and good were awful and I got almost no sleep there. The worst part of it is that my veins are so small they could not get a normal iv in me. I was poked probably a good 10 times , in serious pain , and had them blow at least 3 of my veins. They eventually decided to have a midline iv put in. For those of you who don't know , that's a soft tube that gets inserted 19 centimeters into a larger vein in the upper arm that ends around my armpit. It was murder trying to get it out because the adhesive the DR had used basicly looked like modge podge and was this super sticky putty like substance that basicly melded with my skin. It was so bad to the point of the nurse being unable to pull it off without causing extream pain , that they let me slowly pick and peel at that weird clear goo to get it off myself. The nurse had neven seen that kind of adhesive before.
I've still got a very bad cough and am really weak , but I only have 4 more days of antibiotics left to go. So there's a more detailed update for you guys <3 all of your prayers and well wishes are exstreamly welcomed , as reading your comments has made me feel better as well. Thank you everyone <3
