They're suppose to be $30 USD. Those sellers on amazon are price gouging due to high demand.

did you try ebay i seen them for as cheap as $45 asuming by Legendary Collection Kaiba you mean the Yugioh! cards

well from what i could see those sets came from Australia and stated free international delivery which means the slight price hike included postal even on amazon its $49 with free delivery

Again, the set was released in North America at the retail price of $30 USD. It was released worldwide a little under a week ago.

So if I had to resort to ordering a set from Australia to get my hands on one, don't you think something is seriously wrong there?

i understand but sometimes things sell out really quickly or your local store doesn't get them in i live in Australia and our country gets absolutely nothing we can hardly even get anime down here on blu-ray (only mainstream stuff) so i am always ordering stuff on amazon because i have no other choice i even had to order a game on the switch from amazon (Fate Extella the umbral star) because my local EBGames store told me nintendo isn't sending any physical copy's of that game to any stores in Australia

down here you can't even get plain old Trading Cards any more its all TCG's i had to order over seas again just to collect the MLP:FIM trading Card fun packs

i'm sure you will get your sets at the price point you want have you considered ordering a few boxes at your local card shop? Game Stop should do pre-orders at least, EBGames do down here they even have that set your after but for us its $65 which when you use a online currency converter is about $50 USD

I'm very sorry your country is often overlooked for merchandise.

However my in my area, no card shops exist. There used to be one, but they went under due to terrible business sense. I've also already checked all the Game Stops here, as well as any other retail store in the area that would carry it. it's not that they got it and then sold out immediately, it's that they never got shipments in the first place (believe me, I asked).

There is a market shortage because scalpers and online stores are overbuying them from distributing warehouses and then marking the price up. It's exactly what happened with the whole NES classic thing.

However I would suggest picking up every single card set and pack that you can if they become super cheap. You can make a killing off ebay, even selling at normal/fair prices.

I bought 2 of them off amazon, ill be honest im not impressed. And i bought all of the collections since the very first one. This one was not what i expected, so your not missing much

You likely didn't score any of the more valuable cards from the set then. If you managed to pull per say, an Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring, you would have pulled a $50-$60 value card.
