Some BASTARD gave me a summer head cold that escalated quickly into a chest cold. I'm DYING. >_>
On top of things, my work is breaking up my weekends so I can offer myself as more coverage for the hellish new warehouse schedule. Instead of having two days off in a row like normal people to rest and recover (mainly sleep in and draw for a full day) I will be having ONE day off, work a few days, then my other day off, to continue working a few other days. Indefinitely. UGH.
On the PLUS side, I'm using my half-conscious time to actually WRITE DOWN my "story Arc", so I don't slow down or flounder around. I have writing for up to page 68 of my comic, with a bunch of blurbs for future arcs chunked in there. Remember, while there is going to be porn and incest and such, my story is going to have a lot of "filler", slice-of-life moments. Cute moments. Sad moments. Routine moments. I'm showing their relationship as more than just fuck machines for each other, that in the end, searching for love, nobody else in the world truly fits these little Lynx's than each other.
This is my last two-day weekend. I'm going to bed to sleep FOREVER. I'll probably be working on a few pages on these two days off. Now that I have a written 'script' of sorts, progression and decisions on the next panels making should be easier. Meaning instead of juggling ideas in my head I now have a road-map, and I can figure out how to draw the story out rather than waste time staring at a blank screen.
Feelin' better. Self-induced coma and sleeping in a couple hours extra worked wonders. The muscles between my shoulder blades were spasming and knotting from coughing so much, was brutal. Today just a lingering worn-out feeling, but no coughing (so far). I don't usually get sick. But when I do it's "Special"... and I get hit extra hard. Sorry for the self-rant pity party. I'm not dead!!! Man it was brutal at work yesterday. Today is better. I was literally dragging my body, and every single basic task was a Herculean effort. Snot in my beard, back sore from coughing, my sultry voice reduced to a gravelly gargle... I feel better today. Gonna try to make a comic update in a bit.
