where I am going ?

well, I never did one of these, but I that for once I decided something that will completely change me...

first of all, I would like to thanks all my watcher (186 wow !) for all the fav and the kind comment you gave me over the last 2 year.

It been a while that i've been wondering where I am going with my 3D, when I started about 4-5 year ago, I had for goal to match up with the artist that made me want to do animation (h0rs3), and I've been trained intensively every aspect of CGI, with the main idea of doing a lot of high quality porn.

but ever since I was alway wondering ... why I am making yiffy thing ? I actually don't even enjoy doing it that much, was it for popularity, money, or maybe making friend ? I tried to learn a way to make lot of 3D in a short amount of time, programmed my own tool to make character creation easier and faster (rigging now take me only 2 hour instead of 15), and now that my skillset now lets me to create complete picture (for the hater out there, I know they are not that good, but I did 90% of theory learning, and 10% of practice, and I will now focus on practicing what I learned to make my render as good as they are supposed to be), I'm just starting to question myself : why I am doing 3D ? the answer is simple, I love animated movie, I alway did, and I simply did not understood it until now.

this is why I'm doing a 180° turn on what kind of content I'm now gonna do, every character I tried to do was planned to have yiffy bit, and because of that, it was harder for me to create SFW stuff. this is why for now on, all my futur content will be destined for SFW, no more porn, I will now fully focus on doing what I like : animated movie, I have all the tool in hand to make short mini-film, to try to do funny story, and hopefully get my way through working on a real featured movie!

I hope some of you aren't to disappointed that there will be no more porn from me, but it was just never really made for me, there is still the possibility that I create suggestive stuff like I did with my very first 3D stuff year ago.

This got deep, it isn't against you! xD

Personally, I once stopped drawing due to lack of patience. However, the process of advancing and finishing works gives such a fulfilling feeling. So I keep coming back to it. SFW isn't as rewarding though in my case. Porn on the other hand gives me extra motivation. I also love that horniness keeps people excited, and there can easily be very interesting, constructive conversations. I realised that there are actually much less "weirdos" in the porn scene, than in sexually more restricted places (or where commenting is restricted). Not surprisingly, inhumane people quickly leave a place like InkBunny, cause nobody cares for their drama and site rules don't tolerate it. They dwell where they can enjoy their hypocritical fake ways. xD
On the other hand, I mastered another art form, music. Literally everything in the electronic scene. I can't be a star though, cause I can't manipulate and I'm not aggressive. I'm not willing to make "friends" to climb up on the back of other musicians; nor do I want to kiss up to record labels to get a crippling deal. I also can't stand the trend of making songs about a new movie, game, etc, just to gain youtube idiots. The whole music scene is pathetic and shit. No real artist gets far. Fakers on the other hand, who make 1 button press song and spend 99% marketing... I rather die as a peasant.
Maybe I should do porn, sexual music. xD People usually lose their shit over that. xD
So yeah, SFW is very difficult. Full of inhumane people that judge NSFW cause it's what it is - more fun. Stuff they can't enjoy cause they fear their shitty public image. Oh, brother. So of course they guilt trip people and judge them! :P Most give up NSFW and fail in SFW too. That means less concurence.
Anyways, clearly I barely can enjoy musicians anymore. At least in art, I find many true artists.

I know how hard it is with SFW and NSFW of course.

I know i'm turning down some fluff, I used to think I would make the best 3D furry porn, with the most high quality fur out there, but as I progressed and time passed, I started to notice people didn't really cared about the quality of a pic, if it porn, it porn, and people would fap to it. There is exception ofc, but I want my pic to be looked a bit differently, I make a pic in the hope that some people will notice the subtle variation of light caused by something, the reflection of a landscape in the eye of my character, the time passed to comb the fur to make it look so huggable. but well, put a dick in there, some drop of cum everywhere, and all of that don't matter anymore.

there some positive point though, when I released my bunnies pic, there was a milestone I finally achieved, I got few people who came to me to ask question about how I did them, and wanted to know a little bit more, and that was a good feeling, I want to extend my work to more people, what I want to show now is that anyone can make very good quality work and it isn't something only pixar or disney can do, that you or someone else can produce amazing work that you can only see made by big studio, kind of the same way H0rs3 made me believe I could one day make fluffy animated character on my own.
that and also the fact that I have a full story about my character that I want to make !

People may not express it, but your high quality is actually very appealing. What people say on e621 is nothing but like-whoring, aka. a contest, who can be the biggest asshole in comments.
People don't just fap to any porn. It's very complex what makes a good fap, there are many aspects. The difference is that porn makes us more alert and believe it or not, pay more attention than to SFW. Sexuality is present even in SFW. People start loving something cute for example, maybe even have a hopeless crush, but don't necessarily fap to it. It's part of sexuality too, in a "cleaner" form. In the end, you still work to satisfy people's needs.
Sadly, many times, artists don't care about technical comments either. There was like 1 person whom I could talk to about drawing details and compliment on style, etc.
All in all, people do notice and I've seen before that some even express their like for cell shading for example.
Personally, it would make me happy if anyone would fap to my art. xD Though that 1 piece I have, took me 3-4 days to finish, isn't much yet.
I think we all know the reflection in the eyes you mentioned, and the light changes too, it's very apparent, but it's our fault we didn't express it to you.

The genital parts and alike alone are nothing though without all the cuteness, they're just the icing on the cake. x3 The character all in all is what takes the cake.

So yeah, I get where you're coming from. Including how a few don't value the hard work put into 3D. It's the same with electronic music. With all the effortless fakers, it's looked down upon. Nobody cared when I worked on everything to make a song. Nobody valued how I generated every sound from scratch, which little to none can do out of maybe millions of wannabe musicians. I just gave up, too. Yet that was SFW. They did however value underage "musicians" throwing something together with samples, loops, presets, on a fully automatic software...

So yeah, shit happens.

you know, I'm usually the one talking to other artist like you do to me haha, my choice is made out of pure logic, I do not feel sad or anything, and what I said is not related to the e621 comment (in fact, I can only thanks them for doing it, cause it made me rework the fur of my fox in 2 day), compare the self-service pic and the next one, the new version came from my motivation powered by the e621 hate.

if anything I know some people care about the detail, but I spent a ENORMOUS amount of time on my work, where an artist would need XX hour to lets say 5 Day to create an artwork, my character need week, this young nick wilde was about 100 Hour of work and experiment, I just want to make my work availlable for more people, doing cub is unfortunatelly only supported on InkBunny for exemple.
like I said, I may still use my SFW model to do some NSFW thing, they will just not be made for it (no asshole for exemple).

I used to go for criticism, and when I pleased one person, I made the least popular song. xD So, careful with them; they can bark, but sometimes they talk shit. We can't please everyone, but we 'can' fail horribly.
I like your newer Nick, but I adored the previous one more, but I can adapt. x3

Sounds familiar again ~ with music I experienced the same. Lots of work for a smaller audience - but the difference was that while InkBunny shows interest; for music it was a waste of time.

Okay, I like the sound of genital-free animals just humping too. xD Maybe two characters in undies doing that, etc. All is not lost then. x3

Oh, sorry about that. xD I know people really don't like when a musician comes up with music/audio stuff on a visual site.
Inkbunny is all I use at the moment.
I might upload songs that I'll do for porn games if I manage to get vector animation going and all... I'll let ya know if you'll be still on Inkbunny.
I did SFX sounds for Arkaid's Wildlife Unmasked game btw. xD
