Embellishment Ideas for God Characters

So here's what I know about the god characters I'm designing so far:

Cagu--God of Nature
This is the god that Sonic is connected to. A whimsical, fun-loving god much like his mortal counterpart, he is responsible for shaping the world to look the way it is.

Harccis--God of Balance
This is the god that Shadow is connected to. Focused, logical, and determined, his willpower created the rules that govern the universe, such as the seasons and the concept of light and darkness, and life and death.

Aralod--God of Life
This is the god that Silver is connected to. Loving and wise, he brought life to the world, shaping the creatures that would fit in the original world and then adapt over the eons.

The three gods will be normally 6' 6" (198.12 cm), but can be giants in their own liminal space. Once the heroes meet them, the gods will grant them greater power as their connection grows stronger. Each god will bear a resemblance to the hero they are connected to. Major differences will be their size, lack of clothing, and elaborate markings on their head and body.

Main question is, I'm having difficulties imagining what said markings would look like. So if anyone has ideas so I can more accurately develop their visual appearance, I'd appreciate it lol. I was thinking wispy, swooshing designs for Cagu, but I'm not too sold on anything in particular.

Not sure what exactly you're looking for but reading your depictions of each God gives me a little bit of a idea for each one.
God of nature I would imagine this as being free flowing. Much like the wind graceful and movement and delicate in coloring the way I see nature. Everything is woven together colors and shapes all blend to make a Harmony.
God of balance is what I would picture bold striking colors. Harsh lines made to be noticed. Much like the yin yang having a dark and a light side. Much like Shadows stripes.
And finally God of life. Circles. In many cultures circles represent life as depicted by the Sun and the Moon. In rotation itself. I would see the colors bright.
I don't know if any of this helped but I hope it did. Or well at least I tried LOL. Wish you the best of luck hun.

I'd go for Futhark letters that symbolize the respective concepts, or were first letters of the Old Norse words for them, but the comic The Murder Of Me on dA already did something similar.
