Some of the best comics are ones where there is a reason behind the characters actions. A little buildup and storytelling behind the porn makes them oh so much more satisfying. Look at Jackaloo's the Intern. It's become one of the current most followed comics because the characters have been fleshed out and it's not just going to be meatbags rubbing up against each other. So I say go story

Well, I liked other chars that have shown interest in the protagonists, but I don't would like to see them 'cheating' on each other (not even one). Also, their father had no influence so far, that's also one lose end of the story to tell.
I am all in for testing out that dating thing for sure. ❤

I have a slight suspicion that there is an overlap with "people invested enough with you and your work to see you've posted a journal and are wiling to take the time to read and reply to it" and "people who will prioritize good character development and story structure in the next chapter of your comic." So the results you get from this informal poll might be a bit skewed in that direction.

But, yeah, my vote also goes for a stronger focus on story and characters for the next chapter. Love what you've done with them so far!

Two previous comix were focused on sex and some story, which was great, but left some questions unanswered, so I'd like the new one to be more story with good portion of meaningful smexings inbetween. :3

More Story but with a bit sex. I think you struck a good balance in the last chapter. With the new one I think the could go on that date, talk about their current situation and what to do next. Somewhere down the line they could end up in one of the restrooms and have a little quickie there :3

Furry porn only gets better with some character development imo.
It's a reason I prefer comics over just single pics, usually you can pic up some small bit of personality from comics due to dialog. Your kitties have already shown a lot of personality and character in the two comics so far, but I wouldn't mind a chapter less focused on just various positions and act they happened to find in his porn collection xD If anything I'd love to see her explore her kinks a bit more now that he got some of his fantasies realized. Maybe she looks stuff up online, maybe she has some friend(s) she can talk about it with (without mentioning her brother of course). That way there can be some random pieces of smut in there despite it not being between the two of them, yet.

Whatever path you choose I'm sure I'll love it :3 (Except maybe the pregnancy route some people seem to hope for :P )

I like both, but here is the rub: The best smut-in-a-story is some that is used as a sort of "reward" after the MC's go through something. Generally it's short, like a spat or misunderstanding or even just "pondering the future" with the two of them finally coming back and resolving their issues.

If you could do that, I'd be super pleased.

A good story makes the smut all the better, because you feel connected to the characters.
It's almost like you are rooting for them to get to the promised land. So when it does happen, you feel happy that "Yay, Poon!" but also "YEAH that's ma' BOY//GIRL!" But yeah I say story.

As they are siblings and now the agree to have a date, then it should focus in the story, because they should be think carefully where to go, if they want to go to a place all their acquaintances go often, and they sees them, they will have not the date they planned, so maybe they and maybe they prefer to go to a place where is less probable to find someone they know and thus have a real normal date and not to try to pretend are just siblings going for a walk.

There is also the theme they must talk about this relationship they agreed, because it will be very-very bad if it doesn't work, because they are still family, and if they see the other dating someone else, will be very painful because you can't just go home to escape from that, specally when your ex lives with you, so I think there is plenty of material to really develope their story and not just to focus it in they having sex.

Story! Nigh arbitrary smut is trivial to find by searching very specific keywords. By the way, counting my comment, this page currently contains the word "story" 64 times and the word "smut" 25 times. That's 72% vs 28%, though not quite accurate as a 'vote'.

I like story, but for stories with this kind of theme it's hard to write a good one whose plot doesn't revolve around 'fear of being discovered, eventually getting discovered/having a bunch of close calls, shame, emotional/physical abuse from peers/family, etc.' and it's totally fine to have those as points of the story, but pretty often that's all there really is to the plot of these kinds of things. And I'm not fond of stories that can be essentially boiled down to 'a bunch of bad things happen, but it's okay because they still love each other'.

Despite the lack of 'real' plot to it, I really like the story that Ratcha has going for their comic, which is also about two siblings who end up banging. And I know it's not much comparison to an 'actual' story since Ratcha's comic plot isn't exactly very deep, but I like that it's exploring the physical nature of their relationship without hindering the physical nature of their relationship by constantly slamming the reader's and the character's head with 'this relationship is bad, this relationship is bad, this relationship is bad'.

They're siblings first and friends with benefits, at best, second. They don't seem to be in love with each other, they're just siblings doing sibling things like picking on each other, calling each other names, making each other do dumb/weird shit. They're just okay with getting it on occasionally, and I think the removal of the 'oh god, this is so wrong but it feels so right' trope you see in so many other of these stories that actually go for a plot really works well for it.

But, again, Ratcha's comic is less serious overall so your mileage may vary.

Personally, I think some things that would be good to explore without diving directly into the stuff I said above would be:

The father and his sheer inability to notice what's literally under his nose because of how little he cares/how drunk he constantly is and the siblings (I can't seem to find their names anywhere so I don't know what to call them) trying to find part time jobs to afford a small place for themselves to either get away from him or just get a head start on making their lives better for themselves.

The two are young so being infatuated with each other is more likely than actually being in love and the brother was clearly working with his dick more than his heart or brain through at least the first half of this, so having the two figure out where their feelings really lie is an avenue you could go down, whether it's infatuation or it actually is love, or maybe one side feels one way but the other doesn't feel the same, etc.

Obviously you could explore the mouse girl, Rachelle, some, and she could be a pivot point for either of the suggestions above; sitting with the two at lunch and overhearing them bitching about life at home, she suggests trying to get their own place since it is legal (in certain areas) for you to move out and get your own place before 18, maybe she offers to help so she can move out of her family's place, too, for X or Y reason.

I do think it'd be nice to see a little more story, flesh them out a little more and whatnot. I mean, sure, "oh no, locked in a closet, better screw!" is fun and all, but after a while it just feels a little like they're just cardboard cutouts.

I wish I could answer your question. I'm torn between story and sex. However, I guess I would lean more towards story simply because no successful relationship can be based entirely on sex. We know next to nothing about their family life other than the fact that their dad is a drunk. Where's mom? Why is she not in the picture? Did she die or did she run off with another guy and leave the twins with her ex? I also like the thought of experiencing the date that she demands from him.
