OBS GLITCH

APPARENTLY ITS A KNOW BUT RANDOM GLITCH FOR THAT FUCKER TO TURN ON AT A RANDOM POINT IN TIME AND JUST START STREAMING. IF YA'LL SAW ME WORKING FOR 25? Hours... please keep in mind i had no clue i was streaming -.- if anyone knows how to fix it lemme know

You could always make something to go over the camera/webcam when not streaming.
It is what I do on my laptop.
I use my Logitech USB webcam for the actual streaming or my phone to stream.

you could do that but you would still waste a lot of data unless you had unlimited data

I stream mostly at home so the phone is on my wifi so no data being used.
I have done some streams outside the house I know one time I went to Home Depot to get some stuff and decided to stream it.
It was short enough I never did go over my phones 2GB alotment.

also their is a case of privacy like if you don't know your streaming and your getting changed or even in the act O.o stuff like that can have your streams closed and get you banned from the sites

Yeah it is why I suggested putting someting over the camera when "Not streaming".
I have my laptops webcam completely tapped off and made sure it was dark and nothing can be seen.
And I use a 1080P Logitech when I am ready to stream so I know the cam is on when I want it to be and not have to worry about streaming wanging off in my own private time. ;)

My OBS is only connected to my drawing tablet and that screen is used only for drawing apps.

best way around this i have ever found if your work dose not involve the internet just simply log off you internet account or turn the wifi off on your computer the program can't stream if theirs no internet

that is unless your using windows 10 well you'll probably have to live with it

Never seen that happen.... you might want to uninstall, run ccleaner and then resetup obs. Maybe something with your config file just sounds odd though.

You sure that's a thing? I've been using OBS for a while now (3 years) - and I haven't had it happen... I do also close OBS when I'm not gonna stream though :O

Its a known glitch and it only happens once in a RANDOM while. I have gone over it with someone who has done extensive research into it and generally it only happens 1 time to a user.
