1) Spend all morning drawing random doodles in Sai.
2) Take pride in how they get progressively better
3) Save the doodles on flash stick where Sai is also running from
4) Get lunch. Omnomnomnomnmonmnomnmmnomn
5) Come back and find that saving was a lie.
6) T^T

Was running Sai off a flash stick, and told it to save to the same flash stick. I can only imagine that caused the issue o.O

Bwah! I've had the same issues with various other programs. My best guess is corrupt sectors on the stick. :<

I was handed a 2GB USB drive by my school two years ago. After a year, I pretty much had to remove it and plug it back in again to make sure the file was still there (and useful - nobody likes corrupt files) before I dared close the program I had the original open in. Eventually, it pretty much broke - I couldn't access it anymore. So I use my half a decade old 1GB stick for all my coursework and home use. I lost three weeks of work thanks to that little thing. :C

I actually think I just saved it wrong ^^; I was still learning the ropes with Sai at the time, so I wasn't entirely sure what I was doing. Since then, I've successfully saved all my drawing to that flash stick, since I do some work on my desktop, and some on my laptop (having a since location for all my work makes it easier to sync up~)

Plus, it's a USB 3.0 stick, so I get to feel all modern 'n stuff :3
