We're currently trying to suffer through 25 degree weather with a malfunctioning heater/furnace... Part of my heart issues is making this muuuuuch worse.... Feel like I am slowly freezing.... AVENGE ME!!
Sometimes at my place in Arkansas I don't bother to run any heat (which is ramshackle at best anyway). I've been through 9 degrees with no heat before.
I find that keeping a comforter draped on me like a poncho or hooded robe when I'm indoors without heat is warmer and cozier than having a jacket or a coat on, and actually pretty comfortable.

It wouldn't really be as bad but ever since I had open heart surgery to put a pacemaker in I am really susceptible to the cold anything under about 70 degrees makes me start to shiver and shake uncontrollably I don't know why.
