I'll be at Texas Furry Fiesta

Are you attending another convention, Paco??
But you just were at one some weeks ago!!

Oh yes, I said once "I need to choose which will be my annual furry convention", at first I thought it was going to be Anthrocon, but then MFF was full of friends, and then I thought maybe two conventions per year, but each year I've been adding more and more, OMG!! I'm completely a Furry Trash now!!

But well, now this is my life! Furry fandom is my big family, the Paco from 10 years ago couldn't believe how many awesome friends I have now.

10 years on the fandom

Talking about 10 years, yeah, this year is my 10th anniversary on the furry fandom. Sounds few years for all my friends who are veterans, and a lot for my younger friends, but these has been 10 years I'd definitely won't change, my life took a radical turn since I joined this amazing comunity. Even if I've been involved in some few dramas (I think nobody can save from that here), and I've had some bad experience, I love the furry fandom so much, there would have been no other way to have obtained so much happiness and so many good friends, that otherwise I wouldn't have known.

Also is the 20th anniversary of my character Parinton (better known as PACO) the panda, yup, I created him 10 years before I joined the furry fandom. At first as an imaginary friend and now as my own sona and my spiritual guide. The panda I love the most (As same as his little brother Nemorio, who nowadays I've barely drawn, oh gosh, I should draw that little panda more often, he's gonna be very jealous)

So many reasons to celebrate!! So let's do it going to many furry cons!!! X3

Texas Furry Fiesta

Next week is turn for Texas Furry Fiesta, in Dallas. So if you are attending there, surely you'll see walking around a silly dude disguised as panda, don't hesitate to say hi!

As always, be respectful. I have many experiences with weird people and creepers, don't be one of those. I'm always nice and kind with everyone, I love playing silly in fursuit with people and try to fight my shyness when I'm out in fursuit and talk with who is up for a little chat. Let's support this great positive attitude that we should have as furries with other furries.

Artists' Alley

Be ready because at conventions nowadays is one of the few oportunities to get a commission from me, I'll be at the artists alley ONLY on Friday and I'll take 4 commissions during the con, and when I fill them all, I'll take commissions to take home, digital or traditional. (I'll remain closed for the upcoming months for regular commissions online).

Here are some advices I want to give you if you are planning to get a commission from me at TFF:

►Commissions during the con (the 4 slots) will be very simple, no background, but it will look awesome I promise, extra characters this time will be charged.

►Be thinking about a good idea that I can work for you, if you don't have one, you can leave it up to me n__n I don't have problem suggesting poses.

►Have prepared your reference sheet (any reference of your character works for me, no matter if is not properly a ref sheet), PREFERABLY PRINTED!! If you can't print it, you can have it ready saved on your phone and I'll take a picture to your screen. Do not trust the internet of the convention center, so don't try to find your reference on FA at the moment. That almost never works.

►If you want me to draw you on your own sketchbook, try to be one of the firsts to get to me, early times the artists alley is opened. (Lately at lasts conventions (BLFC, AC, MFF, FC) my queue has been filled in around 20 minutes, and this time I'm only taking 4, so really,...be quick!)

►I'll strictly work at the con only for 4 slots, don't make me work during the convention out of time the artists alley T_T So if you are not one of the 4 first slots, I'll take your commission home and mail it to you later (in case it is traditional)

Telegram channel

I almost never check internet during my trips, rarely I use twitter only to update something about the convention. But an easier way to be updating constantly and also it is really easy you can be checking is Telegram. I have a Telegram Channel where you can follow my path, and I'll be updating with news, emergency announcements, spontaneous changes, the day and time I'll be in the artists alley, sometimes pictures, etc etc

I did eight conventions in one year while I was in the USA! ;-p
That was probably at least two too many - you need a break between them.
One of my friends volunteered at five in six weeks, and looked totally shattered by the fourth.

Of course if you are coming from a different country it can be more difficult - the USA in particular is not a huge fan of people coming in to work, even for a short time. Although many do anyway. >_>

Yeah, be careful, Paco! We don't want you to have trouble coming to visit the US! I know they're popular, but I wonder if it might be better to not work on commissions at the con :( It won't look good to the customs and immigration officers if they see you with a lot of art supplies. It's OK to take orders for commissions at the con and work on them at home though :)

I know I know, I've thought on that. I always try to be very discreet with that, is not like I'm really carrying all my art supplies, I'm carrying only the basic. And that's why I don't carry with merchandise.

At least I probably wouldn't spend the nights resting. xD I'd probably die after - happily!
