I'm attracted to characters with Issues

I've noticed that the more baggage, issues, and insecurities a character has makes me more inclined to like them.

Examples: Mae (night in the woods), Lars & Lapis (Steven universe), Tera (teen titans), Alphys (undertale)

Just to name a few.

I seem to lean more towards these characters because they are easier to relate to for me as I am an insecure person who has issue and massive baggage on my shoulders that I'm currently trying to deal with. I enjoy the stories these characters tell, often never fully getting over thier issues by the end of their stories but do show marginal improvement. As is life and it's imperfect outcomes, most people with issues and heavy baggage never fully get over them, but having people who love and support them to at least find happiness in their lives and improve themselves to an extent.

Anyway that's what was on my mind and thought I'd give you guys alittle insight into how I am.
