This is going to be a somewhat random background info on how I came up with Aeylin, and how she got to look like she does now!
The simplest and shortest explanation: My minds fantasy, ideas, dreams and of course influence from various outside sources like: Mythology, Games, Movies, etc! (Mainly: (Mythology) Egyptian, Greek, Norse. (Games) Smite, Skyrim, 1 I forgot the name off :/
It all starts with an Idea She kind of popped into my mind one day and since then I've had this thing where I like to see/play/whatever female characters that closely resembled that appearance. This meant anything from hair, facial features, etc!
The main concept in my head, even before I had the idea to create a sona (or join the furry community for that matter) was a girl with "Golden" red hair, basically an orange that in the right lighting almost seems gold. In fact her hair naturally, would be an auburn-red, but when she'd use her magic it would gain this golden-glow, this is where here golden highlights come from today!
The person I vision when I think of Aeylin is a geeky, shy yet very friendly, helpful, passionate/competetive girl who completely forgets her typical behavior when she finds herself distracted enough by a situation (this means she can completely 'switch' her attitude, overcome shyness, be 'mean' towards those that deserve it, etc.) She has a 'defined' nose, I don't really know how to describe this.. in a way it's not really noticable, yet it is? It's slim, but long (not pointy tough) and you barrely see her nostrils when you face her directly.
Body She has an 'average' bust/figure, neither curvy or slim, though she can always change it if she so desires (due to her body altering magic) I like all kinds of feminine bodys, wich means as long as you can clearly see it's female I can like it as a female, surely I like 'Thicc' butts, bust or both, an hourglass is killing! That doesn't mean I can't aprieciate a nice face, or a other degree of female ^^, I like variation! (And it makes it easyer to create characters in games xD)
Originally I wanted her to be capable of purely body/mind altering capability's, along with that of healing, however, due to her status of becoming a "Goddes" she can now use anything! Tough if you had to pick her class, she'd be considered a "Paladin".
Angelic? I always thought of her as a 'Devine being' something 'Angelic'. This lead me inevitably to a 'Valkyrie'. In Norse mythology, valkyries are described as almost 'angels', Elite warriors of Odin who in battles choose who will live, and die. They don't associate with any 'clan, party, etc' they fight for their own reasons, their own cause, you can consider yourself lucky if they fight among your side. Often they're portrayed with wings, spear & shield, and of course Female. Perfect for what I was looking for/already had in mind, it just solidified my vision.
Sona Now, she wasn't created over a day, in fact it's probably about 2 years that I finally felt I had the right vision in mind to actually create this 'character', I didn't know what for tough.. so It just stayed something in my head to use in games, perhaps sometime a story, or if I could be so lucky dream about :D. Eventually, after a few years of lurking around furry-content Finally, I discovered this site (inkbunny), I got instantly hooked and after a year of daily art-lurking I finally joined up with an account! It took me a whole other year to actually realize my 'need' and desire for an sona, as this was something I had been noticing many other people had, not just characters.. but Persona's that impersonated/represented them in one way or another.
Why zodiac? During this year I had come up with the final component for my character. I always had a certain interest in things related to, History, Mythology and Astrology (or anything alike). I'm fascinated by learning new things that broaden your understanding, vision, or think-patern, or topic's that happen to interest me, which many will ;). Anyway! I believe there's a certain degree of relation between when a person is born, and how it shapes their personality, much like your environment (people and surroundings), along with your parents and life-choices do. Gene, ally speaking zodiac signs have quite some things in common with people born to them. I see it as the 'Foundation' for a character, upon this we can build and shape it. I feel like anyone is born according to their zodiac, but true time they either chance, or settle upon certain traits. Since I myself am a "Sagittarius" it made the most sence that Aeylin would be just that, and thus I finally gave into my inner-love for Equines, yes it grew on me, it took me a fricking long time (probably about a quarter of my total life) but yes, each and every day I'm starting to love more and more things related to these four hooved creatures!
Name: I don't know! It was just, like first thing in the morning I tought about, and it instantly clicked! The spelling just seemed nice to me, and in my head it sounds 'correct/cool'. So yeah xD.
Also! I stumbled back upon some screenshots of "Aeylin" in game, the closest resemblence of her Apearence! Hope you enjoy :)~ {Ex.1} & {Ex. 2}
