On a serious note. I was actually having this conversation with my mom earlier. I actually see it becoming a more of the "boy who cried wolf " syndrome. I may be wrong , but i think we are going to reach a point to where people become outright hostile to women who report this stuff.

My mom actually had your idea , about people not hiring women for fear of getting a sexual harassment lawsuit later if the friendship / business relationship turned sour.
Not that it would have helped in the above story since the girl in question was a 17 old passed out at the dudes party / function... if he did it.
