Gallery changes Edited February 11th

I'm normally against doing this but due to personal reasons lately I'm going to be removing or hiding a few images in my gallery. Just in case anyone likes certain images or all of them I'd recommend making copies of your favorite ones sooner than later. I'll give it until December 15th before I go ahead with that plan of action to give anyone time that likes to be an image hoarder or enjoys smut.

Feb. 11th: Decided to make the hidden images visible again. The reason I hid them in the first place was dumb on my part and my part alone, so now they're back up (they've actually been back up for awhile, I just kept forgetting to update this) And from now on I'll be trying my best not to be a hyprocite about removing or hiding content that was freely available.

In addition to that I will be uploading content exclusively drawn by myself from here on aside from maybe a commission or two I'm still waiting on. This will probably be like this for a long time, or at least preferably so. So pretty much anything interesting on this account is going to be made slowly or be practically non-existent but I figure it's about time some habits change.

Feb. 11th: Actually I'll still probably be getting commissions and wanting to upload them. But I will be trying to make my own artwork and uploading it as often as I can make it.

This isn't really relevant to the journal, but I figured I'd ask here as opposed to in your shouts or something.

Do you take requests at all?

Dang. I upload one of my own drawings for the first time in a gallery years later and suddenly I'm getting a little bit of attention for it?

Me poking fun aside I'd have to tell you that I don't really do requests for people. I'm more the type to ask certain folks what they would like if I felt like I needed to work on something--anything at all (art block's a serious bitch) but even then that's just me exclusively asking friends.

I might be open to simple suggestions that could inspire me to draw something based on it but I can't guarantee anything, at all.

But being completely serious, it's fine, I was just curious, that pic of Electa was very nice, which is why I had taken an interest.

Honestly, I'm just genuinely surprised and find it a tad bit pleasant that the Electa pic got as much recognition as it did. No way to tell if it will get anymore views or traction in faves and comments but as is it's certainly more than what I expected uploading a low quality digital camera photo of a pencil drawing compared to most of the high quality digital commission uploads in my gallery.

I certainly appreciate the interest, but trust me when I say that even if I was willing to take requests, my work ethic on making my own artwork isn't reliable enough. I'm pretty slow, a bit of a perfectionist which makes drawing even slower and getting invested into a drawing enough to finish it to the best of my ability very rarely occurs, even on ideas I really-really like.

But man, when I do get invested, I'm practically at it non-stop. Hopefully there'll be more of that to see later this year.

Well, like I said, it's a nice pic. Very well done. Yeah, it's sad that there's no way to tell that, but honestly, even low quality camera pics draw attention if the art's quality itself is high.

Ah, I see... Well, that's a bit of a bummer, to be honest, but I certainly can say that I do at least look forward to seeing more art from you in the future if you do get invested in something.
