Need help with the plot of a snuff film

One of my stories-in-progress has the protagonist signing up to star in a snuff film. The main plot is straightforward: he takes the screen test, he gets the part, he gets fucked or gives blowjobs a couple of times, then gets hanged.

But I need some sort of internal plot for the film they are making, and for that I need a little bit of conflict -- something that gets between the character he's playing and his hanging.

Can anybody design the plot of a snuff film (with a willing star) for me? The internal character can be 100% desiring it (like the actor), or he can be somewhat reluctant (sentenced to death, accepting it but a little nervous, or paid for it but maybe getting cold feet partway through the film and eventually deciding to go through with it, or some other thing that gets in the way)?

That will be part of it. But I need something that keeps him from his goal (of getting hanged). Maybe an unwanted appeal to the governor or something. Remember, he's at least a semi-willing victim.

hmmn, what if the problem is...there is no hangman avalible? and they have to find a substitute quickly? what im thinking is that there would be a mad search, taking maybe two hours or so, to find some other guy qualified to do the show, only for a slightly disgruntled, yet still visibly attractive, schoolmum to take charge and not only sex the guy up, but hang him? and for a little twist, shes actually his mother in law? reason im asking is that i feel the need to shake up the whole 'hanging snuff story' formula as the things r practically a dime a dozen. sure they can be put out fast and in bulk, but thats also the whole problem. X is going to hang semiwilling/nonwilling, X does sexual thing with Hangman, X gets snuffed via hanging, wash, rinse, and repeat...cant say that kind of story really cuts the mustard in Snuff anymore...too predictable...too safe...

Possible plots you could use for this movie:

1)You could make the movie about two warriors in a war. They fought bravely, but their kingdom lost. The enemy soldier captured the MC and his lover and starte to "abuse" them and tell them that their king allowed them to do anything they wanted with the prisoners, so the guards tell the MC and his lover that one might continue to live as a sex slave while the other dies. The MC offers himself to be hanged while telling his lover that he might be able to escape someday.

2)Two "brothers" (you can make them being actual brothers or just playing the role of such) go into the woods one night trying to prank their small town into believing ghosts. They prepare everything to hang one of the brothers (let's call him "1" and the other brother is "2"). 1 has his body marked with some "bullshitty runes" and is eager to be hanged. The brothers have one last fuck and once everything is prepared, they leave their house in the middle of the night and have 1 to be hanged and leave a bunch of traces to make the town think that some kind of ritual happened and start rumors about ghosts, cults and such. 2 is alive and is laughing a lot seeing the town in panic because of their prank (but he misses his bro a little. the whole prank was 1's idea).

3)Just a regular setting of a prisoner breaking even mroe rules inside of the prison to be sentenced to death because he just wants to die.

I was looking for conflict rather than a straightforward plot. In fact, I already have a straightforward plot.

A comment I got elsewhere has convinced me to stick with the straightforward plot. The commenter is right: fursons watching a snuff movie -- even one made with Hollywood-level camera work, sound track, etc. -- aren't looking for complications. They wanna see somebody get fucked and sucked and snuffed.
