Getting into ZBrush

I've finally been getting around to learning ZBrush. It's hard!

Digital sculpting is very different than what I'm used to. It's great because it's faster and a lot more artistic, but it's also showing me that I have no idea what I'm doing artistically. So.. the sculpts I've been doing are really bad and it might be a while before I have anything worth sharing. Sorry! Eventually I hope my stuff will be a lot better.

Thanks everyone for the favs and comments, I really appreciate them all. You've really helped to keep me motivated~ <3

zbrush kind of makes me mad, in a "was this program designed by aliens?" sort of way. But it's definitely capable.
I wish you luck dude!

That's a good way to describe it XD
I find myself saying "Really, that's how I'm suppose to do that?" more often than I'd like.

Keep at it, you'll get the hang of it :D. I think the best tip for new users is stay with low poly as long as you can, only then move up to higher poly. Only increment it very gradually. If you start at really high poly it tends to end up looking bad

That's good advice. Sometimes I see artists do their whole sculpt in dynamesh but that must be a superpower I don't have.
