It's so seldom that I get to post good news that I just have to pipe up now (before the inevitable plummeting grand piano clobbers me!). Cyber Monday had a surprise for me over on Deviant Art, where I got a spike in activity that resulted in approx. 50 downloads. Now I know that a lot of the big men on campus get 50 downloads before their morning coffee, but for a toonhead-nobody like me, this is unprecedented. And it was particularly rewarding because every download featured Dottie Coyote in the center of the action. Whether she was with Wile or Lola or all on her lonesome, Dottie dommed Cyber Monday. She's my O.C., so that was really gratifying. And encouraging. I've got my share of assorted toon fanart on DA, but none of that was what clicked. It was all Dot. (Yes!) *.~
Ok, I'm going to go back to my coffee and ibuprofen. And, I'm going to go back to my cartooning. Yeah, I'm still a sleep-deprived, career-challenged crank, but today I'm refreshed. And I'm going to feel like a winner. Thanks to everyone here on IB who has followed DC so far. ^!^
