Babble

...I got nothin' to talk about so I'm just gonna babble about some random shit that I think about.

Art

You know those fuckin' tablets where you draw on the screen? Does anyone that isn't a professional have one of those? Is it better than drawing on a normal graphics tablet? I would like to get one of those someday, but I'm not sure if I'm skilled enough to even notice a significant difference in how I work. Like, is paying the $500+ bones even worth it?

Skatin' and shit

It really sucks going to a skate park filled with nothing but wood flippers and scooters with you being the only inline skater there. Not that it's lonely, but whenever a group of 2X4 flippers see their buds bust a 180 over a tiny little kicker, they all cheer. But when fruitbooter ol' me hits a grind on that one handrail that every other skater, bmx, and scooter rider are too bitchmade to hit, they don't care. (well, most of them anyways. Some cheer, I'll admit.) But hey, I'm not there to impress, I'm there to sherd.

Also, it's kinda sucks (not really) when that one blue moon hits the sky and you walk into the park and see, BAM, another skater......wearing either roller skates or recreational skates as opposed to aggressive skates.

...aaaaand that's it for babbling. This journal was completely pointless. :p

I've messed with the draw on screen tablets before. I like them cause they feel more like traditional drawing but unless you are gonna put a lot of hours into drawing, not sure I'd put down that much.

I own a tablet with a screen and i got it off Amazon for about 1/3 of the price it should be or something because i got it on the post-christmas sales.
£800 usually and i got it for £280. if i remember right. it might of been £600 originally...
either way, yeah, im far from profesional and i can vouch its nice to have. i could never work with normal tablet to the point in the end i almost gave up on digital art altogether. i got a tablet with a screen and now i can actually do stuff. so for me it was a HUGE difference.
best i can say is like, look on amazon whenever there's a sale period. there's some good options.

I always wanted to learn how to skate on inline skates, but I never got around to it. Went on vacation for a while in Santa Monica California, and saw lots of people killing it on them.

I've been meaning to inline skate again for YEARS, but haven't since middle school.  ^^;  Maybe someday I'll find a decent set for my full grown feet again.

Plus, "Not there to impress, but to shred"  Well said, well said.
