lol how loyal.
but a dragon themed christmas game sounds fun.
as long as i don't have to see too much sex i'm in.

the guy's a lot like you. he's tired of seeing sex everywhere so the game is going to be more suggestive than anything too bad. however i'm trying to get sex stuff in it that you can unlock with cheats because that's all he'll allow.

Cool option.

You should rate the game however by the hidden content if it is added, even if you need a code to unlock it. One AAA game got in a lot of trouble a while back, because it had some X-rated content you can unlock in it, but the game was not rated for having it. Woops.

I gave one of my stories an adult rating because of the gore in it, however the gore was not in it till much later in the story, and it was in just one small part of it. I still thought it was proper to warn any readers about it just the same, even of the rest of the story was far from gory throughout.

Also, if you know how to do it, you can have all of the sex and gore related content as a fully separate downloadable addable content. That way your main game cam be completely clean, unless a player adds the extra content to it later by one's self.

yeah. it's difficult to rate a game when the game itself isn't adult until you put a code in. does it belong in a child-safe area since it's okay unless you put the code in? Sharing the code should be seen as an adult topic then like sharing the code for parental controls on a TV or console. But if it's just a code it's easy to get shared around so if kids are likely to find it should the whole game be classed as adult?

Also we work a lot with applets and they are all one enclosed thing so you can't really have separate files. There are ways to do it but it's very awkward and takes a lot of messing around, sometimes by the player and not just the dev. Sharing the text files that load in the content also kinda falls into the argument in my paragraph up there. it could be distributed just like a code.
