Netflix Or Hulu+

THinking about subscribeing to one of those two services for watching stuff online. primaraly becouse it makes watching anime allot less of a pain in the ass and if i deside im interested in something i can try before I buy. so my question is simple.

Wich is better? Sombody told me that hulu+ was and that it had allot more anime to boot but I have been useing a triel of netflix and so far im happy with it.

I dont know if it matters.... but Hulu has been taken over by the parent of FOX... thus the loss of the dailyshow and the like... to some thats not a big deal but... it has prevented me from giving them any money

Well, if you want more current TV, go with Hulu. If you want more of the movie side, get Netflix.

Hulu for the TV stuff.  Netflix is mostly about the movies

Had netflix since before they did streaming and I've loved them and still do

I say Netflix. I've tried Hulu+ and I found that they didn't have a lot of shows I wanted to watch. There are even entire stations not on there. It's your choice, but I suggest Netflix

I'd say best to wait for a while since ACTA has already been signed and websites like Hulu will feel the backlash.

not yet it hasent. a while back (years) America signed it but it's still tied up in Europe. it's an international treaty and does not go into effect without enough support.

Most of Europe signed it already. It appears only Angela Merkel is smart, because only Germany didn't sign it.

it's still faceing heavy opposition and more and more people learn about it every day

Thank god. Did I tell you about the time all of my home countries signed ACTA and I became fully German?

ACTA has been signed by a vast majority, almost all parties in Europe, on the 26th of Januari.

so we fight harder. everybody with a brain can see it's a bad idea. And allot of politicians in Europe Are still leery about it.

I've never used Hulu+, but I've always been pretty happy with Netflix. It feels like less of a value since the price hike, but I use my account pretty much every day.

Use none if they make you pay/subscribe, just download a torrent for free and keep it forever if ya want.... filled a 2TB drive doing that o.O

They only focus on seeders/uploaders and sharers and dont go after small time dnlders, plus thats what proxys/VPNs are for, plus, you seem to be brainwashed by large corporations that make you believe freedom of information is wrong/stealing. Lies and greed, thats what that is. Heh, I dont care really, go pay your idiot tax. Why pay when you can get it for free.

Brainwashed? Dude I love fuckingf reedom, downloading, it's just too dangerous in the USA right now. I'm in Britain, I don't fucking care. I'm all for torrents.

Fuck damnit, I'm British and I know well enough you DO NOT touch or watch anything owned by FOX. Go for Netflix.

i had hulu+ and ended up cancelling my subscription cause it was kinda crappy.  half the time they would redirect you to another site in which the content was already gone.  so i said what was the point of paying money to a site that was only going to redirect me to other sites to create more accounts that might or might not have what i want.

I got a free trial of Hulu+ and never use it.  They hardly have anything I'd want to watch.  There is some anime but what they have seems pretty crappy to me.  I'd say go with Netflix.

Hulu is more current episodes & I don't think they do movies. They don't archive older episodes of shows.

Netflix is packed with old & forgotten gems, tons of movies. They usually don't have "current" stuff until it's a few months old or the next season starts on a show.

I have been a subscriber to Netflix for about 4 years & love it. Also, I like that Netflix has apps for both iPhone & Android, as well as my BluRay player & PS3 having built-in program for it. Hulu has none of that.

It's a question of what you want to watch. Go to the Netflix site & browse their titles ot see if what you're looking for is there.

I have both Hulu and Netflix. Netflix has more to offer and does not lag or plain stop for buffering then lose your show. I spent more time trying to get my show to work than watching it on Hulu.  I will be unsubscribing from Hulu since I got to frustrated to use it.

Hulu+ and Netflix have similar libraries in regards to anime, though Netflix has movies like The Girl Who Lept Through Time (and eventually Summer Wars, currently it's only by mail). If you;re caving unlicensed anime, I'd also suggest Crunchyroll, but keep in mind, when a series there get's licensed for localization, it generally gets removed.

But what anime are you interested in? I've found some really nice titles I enjoyed. X3

Netfilx is the beter value. I have both but share hulu with the bf. If I didn't do that I would drop hulu.

Netflix if you absolutely MUST pay for something, but there are plenty of free options, even if you don't like torrents. Just get a good antivirus (I use avast, it's excellent) and be careful.

It seems like kind of a tossup. Each service has their respective libraries, and what's on one may not be on the other. I can think of a number of shows that aren't on Netflix that I want to watch, but I'm not going to flip services just for that. Netflix does have a lot more movies, that's for sure, but I find it works great for most any show I look to watch as well.

Netflix streaming only has dubbed anime.
