Surgery was successful

Well I went for surgery at 7:30am. Didn't get to leave the hospital until 6pm.
The abscesses and the cavity in the skin they formed have been cut out. All that's left now is to recover.
I've got to take it easy for two weeks.

That’s a relief. Surgery always scares me, so it’s great that it went well and is nearly over.
