Bio: Being the daughter of a male Cinccino and a female Dewgong, Evelyn has had quite a life on both land and at sea. Normally, when she would go to the sea with her mother, she'd get to see all sorts of Pokemon that she'd never get to encounter on land, and the opposite is true when she would travel on land with her father. As the years went on, this Minccino started to feel some conflict going on within herself on whether she wants to spend her life out near the ocean or away from it, given the possible risks and dangers on both sides. If she were to be near the ocean, she'd spend her days interacting with Pokemon near and in the water, but if she were to be away from the ocean, she'd get more food, more Pokemon battling experience, and she'd be able to travel about freely without much worry. When the time came for her to make a decision, she ultimately decided to spend her days on land, but that wouldn't mean that she'd forget all about the sea. Her mother, once she made her choice, decided to give her a gem to remember the memories of the sea by. This gem was blue and had the power to power up her Water-type move, Aqua Tail. It was a Water Gem, and it was a pretty nice way for Evelyn to remember all the good times she had with her mom. It was obviously special to her cause once she went to live on her own, she took the gem with her to carry at all times.
Personality: Very friendly, though she can be a bit untrusting of people and Pokemon that she has never seen before. She's an "Ask Questions First" Pokemon, and she doesn't like to fight unless necessary.
Likes: The ocean, her Water Gem, apples, being chased if she believes that it's part of a game, Tug-of-War, jokes, meeting new Pokemon
Dislikes: Fighting if it is not necessary, her tail getting dirty, getting captured by anything or anybody, being choked
Starter: Evelyn was walking through the Ilex Forest one day, carrying her Water Gem around. She would stare at her gem and remember lots of good memories of being with her mother, some of which include using her Water-type move, Aqua Tail, for the first time, the race between her mother and a speedy Lapras, and her first time exploring the deep, blue ocean without her mother's help for the first time. A couple of tears started to form in the Minccino's eyes as she kept moving along. "Mom... Thank you..." she thought to herself as she continued to walk along until she got to what looks like a dead-end path, with trees and bushes covering the area in front of and to the sides of her. Evelyn looked around as she tried to see if there was any way for her to clear a path for herself. Where she was going, she had not a clue in the world, but she would go wherever she felt like she was supposed to go.
As the Minccino looked, she saw a small gap between two of the bushes. "Hmm... I probably have to go through there..." she thought to herself as she shrugged shortly afterwards and started to walk through the gap. As she got past the two bushes, she noticed a bunch of Pokemon chatting with one another. "Huh? Did I just walk into a conversation? Maybe I should just go and find a different path to take..." Evelyn thought to herself as she turned back and tried another path, this time to the right of an old oak tree.
This path seemed to be taking her into a darker area than the rest of the Ilex Forest, but Evelyn didn't seem to mind. Wherever this path was going to take her, she was sure to get there without much hassle. She walked through the area as she heard a bunch of whispers around her. "Huh? Hello? Who's there?" she asked, walking still as she turned all over the place to try to find where the voices are coming from. Suddenly, the whispers started to get louder, creeping Evelyn out a bit. What if something was waiting to get her? Would she really want to take a chance and find out?
Immediately, the Minccino started to run forward. She kept running to try to get away from the whispering voices as she looked to see a brighter area up ahead. "Oh, thank Arceus..." she said to herself with a sigh of relief as she then turned back, looking to see if there would be anymore whispering sounds. However, she paid more attention than she needed to pay, and she ended up tripping and crashing into something.
As she fell to the ground, she muttered with her head to the floor, "Note to self: I should probably just keep looking forward from now on." She then pushed herself up and brushed off any dust that she might have gotten on her fur when she collapsed. Afterwards, she decided to carry on. As she walked a couple of steps, she could feel some sort of slight tugging. A strange pull on her tail. At first, she didn't pay much mind to it, but as she got farther, the tug seemed to get stronger. "Huh? What is doing that?" she then asked as she turned to see what was tugging at her tail.
When Evelyn turned and looked, she saw what looked like a vine from a vine bush sticking out and holding her tail. "Huh? A vine? How did that get on me?" she then asked herself as she tried to pull her tail away from the vine. However, that attempt seemed futile as the vine held on. Apparently, when the Minccino tripped and fell, her tail must have touched a barbed end of the vine, causing the barb to poke against it and get stuck to her. "Uh oh... Urghhh... Come on..." she said as she then started to pull harder, hoping to free her tail from the barbed end of the vine. However, it was still not coming out.
So, with little choice left, Evelyn decided to try to run to see if that would free her tail. Immediately, she got down on all fours and started to sprint ahead. As she sprinted ahead, the vine started to get stretched out, but it still kept a good hold on her. She'd let out a small yelp of pain as she kept on sprinting, almost as if the barb had dug into her tail a bit from the poke, and it was not coming out. Nevertheless, she was still trying to break free as she sprinted even faster, stretching the vine out some more. "Oh, don't tell me that this vine is still holding on..." she said to herself as she looked and saw that the barb was still in her tail. Not only that, but the vine was getting close to its stretching limit, so she would be stuck if she didn't get this barb out.
With more effort, Evelyn was finally able to free herself from the barb. As it came out of her tail, she let out another yelp in pain before sprinting ahead. She'd then slow down, but due to the speed of her sprinting, she tumbled a bit, rolling into a tree, crashing into it, and then landing down, the world seeming upside down to her now. "Owwww... that really hurt..." she then moaned as she laid down with a pricked tail and a newly hurting head. As she went to put a paw to her head, she saw a mysterious figure approach her. "Wha... Who are you?" she would ask the strange figure as her eyes looked up at the figure's body.
