As many of you know, i am about to become a father, which is both amazing and frightening. That fact has made me put a lot of things into perspective. I thought i was taking my career seriously, but i am going to step it up a notch to ensure that my little girl has everything she needs no matter what. So with that, there is a change that is going to be made to my Patreon (seen below from my Patreon itself). Any major changes i make will happen at the beginning of the new year. This also includes a new price evaluation for my commission sheet (i think i have gotten my comic pricing figured out, but it may need a bit of a tweaking still). So please read on and feel free to ask any questions that you might have.
First I want to say, thanks for supporting me all this time. I really appreciate it.
That said, and as I figure this Patreon thing out, there is gonna be some changes that you will hopefully enjoy; but first, I should address the major part. Black City is going to change its payment scheme.
At the beginning of the year, BC will be a monthly subscription, but there will be benefits and the like with each tier. Beyond the extra benefits and the like, it will also save you money in the end for the same content. I am hitting a spot where I am now gonna be consistently producing 3 pages a week, that means 12 pages a month. The subscription method is far cheaper no matter how many pages I manage to produce that month.
• $5 Lead: You gain access to everything and have access to promotional items and special sales.
• $10 Iron: On top of everything, you gain the Iron Discount on commissions (10% rounded up) after one month in this tier.
• $15 Copper: In addition to the Iron Discount and the like, you gain Copper Priority on commissions after one month in this tier. There will be 25 Copper Tier slots.
• $20 Silver: Not only do you gain the Copper Priority, but you have access to Silver Sales and events, after one month in this tier. There will be 15 Silver Tier slots.
• $25 Gold: You have all the previous benefits; however, you gain the Gold Discount (20% rounded up) rather than the Iron Discount and the Gold Priority instead of the Copper Priority after one month in this tier. There will only be 10 Gold Slots.
There could be more tiers and what each one gets may change from this initial post. The reason for the change is that not only will Black City support the comic of the same name, but it will also grant access to other NSFW features and the like, such as Commissions and merchandise, as merch becomes more available. With this, I hope to bring your burden down and expand your options.
When I get closer to posting and readying the change, I will give out more precise information of how this will go down. This includes a new Price Sheet for commissions that includes pricing with the Iron and Gold Discounts.
I am also planning on doing a weekly vlog, though I am camera shy, I will draw a doodle or something. I am also planning on doing more speed paints, even of the more risqué commissions, and even possibly some of the more interesting pages of the BC Comic. I have a list of merch, but as of right now, creating a stock of them is not productive due to my current location, but by 2020 I should be in a better spot to have and maintain a stock of items; otherwise I would be stuck doing them on demand most likely, and that will cost all of us way more than necessary.
The names of the tiers are also not set in stone, they may shift or even return to the more familiar themed names that BC is already using.
