An Interesting Question to Test One's Loyalty

A while ago, I've posted a journal about trust.  There are other journals that signify what has happened to me in the past that relate to some topics that I talked about.  So here's a question that I want to understand.  Note that some of you may already know exactly who I'm referring to.

If there's is someone that you know, trust, follow, and/or believe in because of their talents/personality for a long period of time only to discover that they have done something deemed horrible in the past, do you still consider them as such, or do you cast them away like some cruel deceitful person for the rest of their life?

To me, as long as it's not murder and they've admit to something, they are still good in my book overall.  All of those talents and skill ignored over one mistake? I don't think so.

*Guess that makes me crazy too right?*

The only thing I can say about this, is "A friend stands by your side. A real friend stands by your side DESPITE knowing who you are."

I'd give them another chance as I try to find the good in most.

I prefer to decide how I feel about a person based on who they are now.

To err is to be human...to forgive is divine.

"Every man is a moon; he has a dark side that he tries to keep hidden." --Mark Twain

Discovering a 'dark secret' is seldom reason for ending one's loyalty to a friend.

Everyone has there own level of forgiveness.  For example, since I may or may not be drunk , you look like an oreo, but I forgive you since I look like a twinkle with a tail!  How this is relevant I have no clue.

no, I think the same way... except that I don't mind murder that much... well, depending on the circumstances...

Yeah, self defense in order to live is one thing.  In cold blood is another story.

I'm hopefully getting over being viewed as a pariah these days. After mending fences with
