You know, I was thinking about my first commission drawing here on Inkbunny...and I very much appreciated the very positive comments on that.
so I was thinking of starting to make other designs on commission, but more easily this will come to fruition next year (in this period my job leaves me little free time for my hobbies).
The basic idea is simple: tell me what draw you want (cars, landscapes...or a mix of both); give me some reference pics from which to start (if you want something specific) or else I will totally deal with the details.
If you want, you could also include a character, but drawing characters is not my strength, so in that case we could do it in two ways:
- the commissioner deals only with the character, with the total freedom to design it in the preferred way, then send me the figure to be inserted later in the finished drawing
- the commissioner tells me what character wants to include in the drawing, sends me some reference pics of the character, with which I will create a model to be included in the drawing
For the moment the drawings will be made in the traditional way, with a mix of pencils, markers and watercolors...when I've got the right familiarity with the graphic tablet, then I'll go to digital drawing.
my commissions are totally FREE, for a simple reason; I'm not a professional designer, I didn't attend any artistic school or even participated in specific courses...so, in my opinion, being paid for non-professional work would be an insult to those artists who put soul and body in their work.
I hope you can understand this line of thought.
